Jawed walked inside the room and saw Parisa was lying there. It was already confirmed that her condition was because of fright. She was too scared that affected her body. He was always careful about her and placed many maids to look after her. At this moment Parisa looked pale, her ruby cheeks turned white and her face was void of any make up. He sat beside her and hold her hand. Parisa opened her eyes to see him sitting beside her.
"Shah?" She called out.
Jawed smiled, "how are you feeling?"
"I am fine" she replied then tried to get up.
"What are you doing?" Jawed stopped her movement. "Tell me what you want to do. You shouldn't force yourself like that. It may harm your body" he looked worried.
"Shah, I want to sit. My body is aching and I don't want to lie anymore"
"Here, let me help you" he helped her to sit on bed.
"I am sorry, I am troubling you so much" Parisa sighed. All her actions were back fired her and she don't know how.
"It's fine" Jawed shook his head. "Now that you are sober tell me the truth. I will be happy if you just open up to me. It will be easier to handle the situation"
Parisa bite her lips. "I.... just wanted to scare her a little that's all. But I don't know how it ended up in my own room. Is this a kind of coincidence?"
"Are you jealous of her?" He frowned.
"No, it's just she always disobey me and I don't like it. She always feels like supirior to me, like an elder which I can't control and I hate it. I just want to show her that I can also overtake her or maybe better than her" she lowered her head.
Jawed sighed and reached out touching her cheek, "you don't have to do that. Don't forget you are the Malika of Marzban, the honoured woman in the capital. You don't have to put yourself to compete with other woman. Besides it's not Marzban, people here don't know you, we are just a guests here and we shouldn't offend anyone without knowing them closely. Do you understand?" He asked gently. He had always taken care of gently. Never did he raised his voice on her no matter what.
Parisa slightly nodded her head, "aren't you angry?I touched that box and..."
"Nothing is more important than you. You just need to take medicine and nourish your health. We will be leaving soon"
Parisa nodded again. Jawed pinched her cheek. "Your maids are waiting outside to meet you. I will visit you later" after saying so he left the room. After him get maids walked in one by one.
Parisa gasped when she saw them. Their face was pale and they looked like they were beaten. "What happened to you all?"
"Malika nothing happened. We all are fine" Nahal replied. But Parisa knew well what exactly happened. She bite her lips and clenched her fist. How can she forget that her husband even though won't scold her but her maids aren't the exception for the punishment. Suddenly regret filled her heart. "It's all my fault" Parisa uttered, "I shouldn't have asked you to do something like this"
Her maids hearing her words fell on their knees, "Malika, it's our fault for being unable to complete the task perfectly"
"Get up you all" Parisa said, "you don't have to force yourself like this. You must be in pain" these maids are always with her, handling her matters and suggesting her from time to time. They are more like friends. And today they suffered because of her.
"Since I am lying on bed, I will stay alone here. You don't have to serve me today. I want to rest today"
"Malika...?" Frida tried to say something.
