"Is everything prepared?" Kashmira entered the room as she asked. Nandini was sitting with a paper writing something. She looked up and smiled at the elderly woman infront of her.

"Buashree you are here"

"I couldn't stay still in the mahal" Kashmira returned the smile warmly, "I have already placed the order to arrange lunch earlier than usual. It will be good to have something before you leave"

Nandini though don't like food from the Palace Pakashala but looking at Kashmira's warm gesture she couldn't refuse at all. So she just nodded her head and placed the ink pen on the table.

"What are you writing?" Kashmira looked at the paper before asking.

"It's something that will help you to lessen the load of ShtriMahal. To put it simply I am changing the rules of ShtriMahal to maintain the peace till I return back"

Kashmira sighed, "since you have taken the responsibility I could breath peacefully. In the recent years ShtriMahal was always chaotic and it was kind of hard to handle sometimes. I always felt everything was out of order. Though I was in charge of  taking care but I couldn't force any power because the orginal owner's position was still empty. But now that you are here, see as you please. As long as I could keep myself from the chaotic headache I am fine with anything"

Nandini smiled, "don't worry Buashree, last time I burden you with the load but this time I will make sure nothing happens like that. You don't have to do anything. Just enjoy your leisurely days peacefully"

"That would be great" Kashmira nodded in agreement. "This old heart couldn't take any drama now" she shook her head.

Nandini let out a tiny chuckle before responding, "why does Buashree thinks you are old? You still look young"

"Are you flattering me?" Kashmira faked a glare.

"No, I am just true to myself stating the fact" Nandini replied. Infact Kashmira indeed look young. Nandini wasn't lying when she complemented her look.

"Ah! this child" Kashmira shook her head then smiled. "anyways, where is Manik? I heard the morning court session ended earlier than usual today"

"Yes, Samrat said he would accompany me in the journey. Since we got married I have never visited my home and Samrat also wanted to take the opportunity to meet everyone"

"Manik choose the right thing" Kashmira nodded. "How can he let you go alone like this. He is not only a ruler now but a husband too. Like he has responsibilities towards the nation he also has responsibilities towards you which he needs to fulfill with care. If he didn't take the decision then I would have asked him to accompany you" she sighed, "anyways, have you meet Chandrakant?"

"Yes, yesterday Samrat brought him to introduce"

"That child is always away from the palace and also family. I could say that he almost grew up outside travelling around. Bhabhishree also gave up taking care of him after Bhaishree died. That time was really hard for everyone. Manik was struggling with the court matters as a newly crowned Samrat while Bhabhishree  left the palace and Chandrakant stayed in the palace for few years training himself. Everything has fallen apart after Bhaishree died"

"Rajkunwar seemed to be dissatisfied with me" Nandini stated an honest opinion.

"Don't mind him. He could be arrogant sometimes and I must say he has taken few of  his brother's personality traits" Kashmira shook her head, "besides he met you for the first time so he don't understand you well. Once he gets to know you closely I believe he will change his opinion towards you"
