When Chandra woke up she found herself lying in her own tent. She sat up abruptly startling her sevikas who were waiting for her to regain the consciousness. Her suddenly action had them surprised.

"Rajkunwari you finally woke up" Kanta said hurriedly. There was some excitement in her tone.

Chandra looked around, "how  am I here?" She asked and confused for a moment.

"Rajkunwari don't you remember anything?" Mishra asked. "You were injured Rajkunwari that's why we brought you here"

Chandra frowned for a moment before realisation drowned her. Samrat was hurt and in anger Samragyi slapped her so hard. Though she tried to think what happened after that but she couldn't remember at all. After feeling that hard slap on her cheek she fainted and didn't remember anything after that. She raised her hand and touched her cheek. She hissed when she felt it was still paining. Her cheek was swollen and heavier on side.

"Rajkunwari don't touch it. It will pain you more" Kanta hurried to say. She looked at her master who was always treated carefully in the mahal while she was beaten so cruelly here. She couldn't help but but sobbed. "Rajkunwari, this is such an injustice. You are injured like this for nothing"

"Even Maharaj and Maharani never scolded you let alone raising hands on you. Rajkunwari this time Samragyi is really too much. She hit you infront of everyone. Now others might criticizing about your reputation. Samragyi shouldn't have done something like this. Even if she is angry, you are still a Rajkunwari. She should have given some respect to you" Mishra's face twisted in anger. Now the beautiful face of Rajkunwari is swollen which looked weird.

Chandra gritted her teeth. It was her fault that Samrat was hurt but Samragyi beaten her so badly infront of everyone. Now hearing her two sevikas grieving for the injustice Chandra couldn't help but feel she was totally wronged.

"And no one tried to help you" Kanta raised her head and looked at her, "Rajkunwari you were lying there unconscious but no one came forward to help you out. Everyone behaved like they haven't even saw you. Such treatment showed how little care they has for you. Maharaj has handled your responsibility before taking the journey yet they treat you like this. Rajkunwari I couldn't see it"

Chandra clenched her fist and looked at them, "don't talk about it anymore. How is Samrat?"

"He is still under treatment. We couldn't go to his tent to ask. No one is allowed to go there other than the family members. Most of the time only Samragyi stays in his tent. When I asked around I heard the sevikas of Samragyi Vrinda saying, Samrat's condition is really serious and he is still unconscious. The Vaidya himself couldn't given a proper answer" Mishra replied.

Chandra's heart clenched. She immediately get down from bed. Seeing her in rush both sevika hurried to stop her.

"Rajkunwari what are you doing?"

"I need to go and see him. He is in this condition because of me. How can I sit here and do nothing?" Chandra said.

"Rajkunwari you shouldn't go there. No one is allowed to go there without permission. Besides after the incidents earlier they might take you as villian. What if they insult you again?" Mishra asked.
