The tea was steaming as Nandini picked up the cup and took a sip. She liked the flavour of the tea which Kashmira uses. It was mild and refreshing. Nandini couldn't help but took another sip again.
"You are saying that you want to invite Prime Minister too?" Kashmira frowned.
Nandini nodded with a smile, "Yes, Buashree, Prime Minister is somehow related to the royal family isn't it? I mean to say though Maya still has the unofficial position but there's no one who are not aware of her position. She is still regarded as a wife of Samrat. If we drag the relationship then is not the minister mansion our relative?"
Kashmira nodded "what you said is right" then she sighed, "the Kunwaries are all reputable but Manik has never given a thought about them. Sometimes I wonder if he is really interested in woman. He is not young anymore. It's a highly time for him to think about the heir"
"That's why I am trying to help" Nandini placed the tea cup on the table gently without causing any sound. "This time, I am inviting Sambhara and Maya to help me out in this banquet. Since they are the elders of kunwaries, I think they could give me better help"
"You are including them?" Kashmira was quite shocked.
"Yes, Kakishree has pressured the point on Sambhara, her heart aches for her niece. And it's understandable of course. Afterall she is her aunt and blood related family. More closer than us. I was also thinking about this matter and found there's no problem at all" Nandini answered.
"You are thoughtful " Kashmira nodded with satisfaction. The new Samragyi is thinking about the other wives is a good thing. Manik being ignoring them was a great insult towards the reputed ministers. Though they couldn't say anything on surface, but everyone knows that the ministers are totally dissatisfied about the situation.
"So Buashree are you agreeing with my intention? I just want to give the Kunwaries a little respect that they deserves. Or with Samrat's current behaviour all the beauties will rot in the corner of ShtriMahal" Nandini heaved a sigh with a sad look on her face. She seemed like she was greatly concerning about the Kunwaries in the ShtriMahal.
Kashmira felt the situation is not wrong. Even though the Kunwaries don't have an official title with them but they are still the wives of Samrat. If Manik continued to ignore them then it may lead to the numerous tension in the court. So from this side Nandini's intention was right and helpful.
"Okay, I understand you. I will include the names in the list. Besides I will invite Samrat today and discuss this matter with him" Kashmira nodded.
"It will be helpful Buashree. I will leave this matter to you then. I hope I am not troubling you much" Nandini had an apologetic smile.
Kashmira laughed, "of course not. Don't worry, I am bored sitting in the Mahal anyway, so engaging myself in work a little will be good exercise for me"
"Then I will leave" Nandini got up and left.
"Go, and invite Samrat here in the evening. I want to discuss something with him" Kashmira ordered as soon as Nandini left. Sulachana nodded and walked out of the room while Kashmira picked up the tea cup and started to enjoy alone.

In the Samragyi Mahal Sambhara and Maya was sitting in the inner hall for quite a long time. The sevika of Samragyi told them they were invited but there's no sign of Samragyi when they arrived. Now sitting for a long time, their back started to ache as they kept a good posture.
"Why did Samragyi called us here yet she is no where to seen?" Sambhara frowned.
"How would I know that? I can't read her mind" Maya replied coldly.
