The carriages stopped at the restaurant to eat. They had been travelling for hours already and the horses also needed to rest. Once everyone get down the carriages Trived ordered the soldiers to let the horses drink water then arrange food for them.

"This restaurant looks good, I didn't know we could find such a good place in the middle of the journey" Vrinda sighed, "at least everyone could get good food to gain all the needed energy"

"Yes, everyone can rest for a while" Sulohita nodded. She turned to look at Chandra who walked inside the restaurant with her sevikas. "Rajkunwari, you must be tired. Take the seat first"

"Thank you" Chandra smiled. She sat down before looking around. She tried to find Nandini but couldn't. They get down the carriages at the same time then where is she? At the end she couldn't hold back her curiosity and asked Sulohita, "Rajrani, where is Samragyi? Why can't I see her?"

Hearing her Sulohita also looked around, "that reminded me. Where is Nandini actually? Didn't she entered with us?"

Vrinda frowned, "she did, but I guess she stayed behind— oh there she is" she smiled pointing towards the door.

Chandra turned around to see Nandini walking in with her sevikas. Nandini smiled at them and took a seat.

"Nandini where were you? We have been looking for you" Vrinda asked as soon as she sat down.

"I apologise for the trouble. I was entering when Samrat stopped me. So I got delayed" Nandini replied slowly.

Chandra felt a pang in her heart. Why they are so clingy? She asked herself. She was told that she would be the Samragyi since she were too young. But all her dream were broken when Samrat married this woman. And now they are playing all lovey-dovey showing the affection in public. How could her heart be in peace?

"Samrat seemed really fond of Samragyi" Chandra said, "he always wants Samragyi to stay near him"  though this sounds teasing but it also implying that their actions were shameless.

Sulohita and Vrinda took the words in teasing manner but how could Nandini not understand the double meaning behind it?

She looked at Chandra giving her most provoking smile, "why? Is Rajkunwari jealous?"

Chandra was stunned. She wasn't expecting her to ask so directly. For a moment she was speechless but she quickly grab hold of her emotions and smiled back, "such actions always makes other jealous"

Nandini smiled, "it's understandable Rajkunwari yet there's also saying that coveting something that's not yours would always lead towards something unexpected"

Chandra frowned, "what do you want to say Samragyi?"

"Smart people don't need much words" Nandini replied then didn't speak anymore.

Chandra though felt displeased by such remark she didn't dared to speak too. She bit back her words and forced a smile. Soon they are food and rested in the restaurant. The male and female had different seats.

Pallav came towards them and bowed, "Samrat has said that it's time to leave. There's still a long way to go before we reach Sambul"

"Leave right now?" Vrinda asked.

Pallav nodded, "yes"

Vrinda sighed with a smile, "I really don't think I can take a good rest till I reach Divyangarh" then she turned towards Nandini, "Nandini, next time if you want to meet me, you have to travel to Divyangarh. I am prohibiting myself to take another long journey like this"

"Then I will visit Mamishree" Nandini smiled.

Sulohita shook her head, "let us go now. It's not good to let them wait. The faster we leave the faster we will reach out destination"
