Nandini walked out of the room and wiped her hands again. She don't like the smell so she asked Medha to prepare a bowl of water beforehand. As she wiped she looked at Isha, "clear everything here. I don't want any traces to be left. As for the later work, you know it"

"Don't worry Prizzi, I will make e evrything run smoothly" Isha nodded with a knowing look.

Nandini nodded her head then walked away leaving her sevikas to deal with the things that needed. As soon as she stepped inside the innerhall she noticed a manly figure sitting on the chair silently.

"Samrat?" Nandini called out. Manik turned his head towards her and got up.

"I was waiting for you. It seemed like you were quite busy. Your sevikas are also invisible either"

"I did have something to handle—" her words were left half way when there was a loud scream making both of them tilt their head towards the way where Nandini just walked in.

Manik's expression didn't changed at all but his eyes reflected some kind of interest as he looked back at her. At this moment he was kind of interested in the source of the scream.

" Hmm... You must be busy" that's all he said before sitting back. Nandini walked towards him taking the seat next to him.

"Samrat why are you here at this time?"  She glanced towards the window and saw it's dark already. " You have said that you will be busy these days"

" I was" Manik nodded, " but because of the court matter being suppressed effortlessly it freed some privacy"

Nandini's lips twitched. Freed some privacy? What kind of answer was that? Should she flattered by that remark? This man really know how to twist words and make other confuse. If she wasn't aware of his word play she would have been left confused.

"Samrat, other than the court matter I believe there must be some other important work waiting for you. Afterall you are the Samrat or how can you have such free space to visit my mahal at this situation" she flashed a smile towards him which was returned by him with a nod.

"Since you guessed it then there's no need to hide. Soon there will be another discussion of the replacement of the financial Minister position and the court again will be chaotic. It's a matter of finance and there are eyes looking for it"

Since the demotion of the financial minister the court needed to replace the position with another one even if it was temporarily. The position of the ministers couldn't be left empty for long.

"Does Samrat has anything in mind?" Nandini asked after analysing the matter in her mind.

"Not yet" Manik replied slightly leaning his back on the chair, "but I would like to have someone skilled in that field and also be loyal. It's hard to have trusted people around in the mess"

Nandini pursed her lips. The court is a messy place. She really want to distant herself from all those troubles and let herself be in peace. Her being involved in the ShtriMahal was already a great headache.

"I understand" she sighed and felt her head aching slightly."I need a cup of tea" she mumbled under her breath but Manik heard it clearly. At this moment Purna walked in with two cups of tea and placed it in the table beside them. The sweet smell radiation from the tea was alluring. Purna didn't stay long, after her work was done she left quickly without looking back.

Manik was quite surprised too. She just wished for a tea and her sevika just brought it suddenly without any need of order? The timing and action are really in sync.

"Your sevika is quite skilled" he commented.

"It's just a habit" she replied picking up the tea cup and taking a sip. Looking at her enjoying Manik also tasted the drink.
