"Hey guys, come on in." Kylie smiled at us when she opened the front door and saw us there. "Merry Christmas Eve!"

"Hey, oh I love your sweater." I told her as she hugged me tightly. "Very cute."

"Me? Look at you Taylor, that is a gorgeous necklace. Where'd you get it?" Kylie reached over and picked up the little diamond hanging from the chain around my neck.

"Travis got it for me. It's one of my Christmas presents." I told her as she ran it through her fingers. It was an 18 carat diamond blossom pendant from Walker and Hall. After Travis had given it to me this morning, I'd googled it. It was valued at almost thirteen thousand dollars, and that had completely blown my mind. Travis smiled at me as I looked over at him, halfway through greeting his brother.

"It's absolutely gorgeous." Kylie gushed.

"Auntie Tay!" Wyatt belted out as she sprinted down the hallway towards us, and Kylie chuckled as she launched herself into my arms. I scooped her up as she giggled, burying her little blonde head in my neck.

"Hey Wyatt girl, you excited for Christmas?" I asked her, and she nodded enthusiastically.

"Mommy says we can bake cookies for Santa tonight!"

"That's very exciting sweetie." I smiled at her.

"Hi Auntie Tay." Elliotte tugged on my skirt and I crouched down.

"Hi darling." I struggled to pick her up as well as she tried to climb onto my lap and Kylie laughed at me as I straightened up with her two oldest daughters in my arms.

"That's really good practice for when you have kids." She commented, folding her arms. "You're gonna have to do that a lot."

"Yeah." I laughed, meeting Travis' gaze over her shoulder. There was no way he hadn't heard her. As our eyes met, he smiled at me, his expression softening.

We got settled in after a few minutes, taking our bags down to the back of the house to the guest bedroom. Once we'd put our things away, Wyatt dragged me into the kitchen to help her make her Santa cookies as Kylie went off to do some laundry. Travis and Jason watched a replay of a football game, talking over the commentators as Travis bounced Bennett on his lap. Elliotte hung around my ankles, not wanting to help but wanting to be included. After a minute, I picked her up and balanced her on my hip so she could see what we were doing.

"Auntie Tay?" Wyatt asked me as she stirred the batter.

"Yes sweetie?"

"Do you love Uncle Travis?"

"Of course I do." I ruffled her hair. "Why do you ask?"

"Because I heard Uncle Travis tell Daddy that you drive him over the wall."

"You mean up the wall?" I laughed, and she nodded. "Is that right?" Wyatt nodded again.

"You cheeky girl." Travis scooped Wyatt up in his arms and she squealed, wriggling.

"So I drive you up the wall huh?" I asked him.

"Actually, I was telling Jason about the time you wore that Eagles shirt just to tease me." Travis corrected me. "And how it drove me up the wall. He laughed himself hoarse and told me he thought it was the best prank anyone has ever played on me." I laughed as Elliotte wriggled in my arms and I placed her on the ground. Wyatt ran off with her and I dug the wooden spoon into the bowl of cookie batter before scraping some off with my finger and holding my hand out to him.
