Taylor's POV

God I was nervous. I didn't know why, well, I knew why but I thought it was a little silly. I had no need to be nervous.

I'd written my very first song about Travis, and he'd be here soon since he was staying for the weekend. I was going to play it for him, and I was so stressed out about it even though I really had no need to be. Travis had loved every single song I'd played for him recently, but this one was different. This one was him.

"What do you think buddy?" I asked Benji as he twined around my ankles where I sat at the piano, just going over the song. "You think he'll like it?" Benji purred and I smiled, reaching down to rub between his ears. "Okay I need to stop." I sighed, getting up from the stool and moving towards the door. I'd spent ages practicing the song to play for Travis, but I could only prepare so much.

Checking my phone, I sighed in relief when I saw that it was now an acceptable time for me to leave for the airport to meet Travis. I'd had a quiet day and had spent hours sifting around, just waiting until I could leave to see him. I'd missed him like crazy.

Pulling on some shoes, I made sure all the lights in the apartment were off before texting my driver to see where he was. He texted back to say he was outside ready to go, so I opened the door and locked it on my way out. I smiled when Theo got out of the car, coming around to open the back for me. He always did that when I wasn't with Travis, since Travis always insisted opening doors for me too.

"Thank you." I smiled as I got in, and Theo nodded with a smile back as he closed the door after me. The drive to the airport didn't take long, and Theo walked with me in as security.

We found the gate that Travis' flight was due to be in soon, and Theo sat with me by the windows to wait. I kept checking the time on my phone, watching the sky for a plane, daydreaming about getting swept off my feet in a tight hug when Travis saw me. He always pulled me into his arms like we hadn't seen each other in months no matter how long it had been. I couldn't wait.

Then I saw a plane touch down, pulling slowly up to the gate, and I clambered out of my seat in anticipation. Theo stayed seated, knowing I wouldn't move until I saw Travis, and knowing Travis was more than capable of taking care of me. I twisted my hands together, watching impatiently as they slowed the engines, finally opening the doors of the plane. It seemed to take an age for people to start trickling out, but eventually they did and I craned my neck as I searched for the only man I looked for.

I spotted Travis the second he stepped out of the plane, smiling to myself as I watched him descend the steps with a carry on bag over his shoulder. He walked along with the line of people across the tarmac, over towards the doors before coming through the door. I broke from where I stood, not caring about the eyes staring at me as I walked towards the gate. Travis' eyes searched around for a moment until they landed on me, and he smiled so widely that it made my heart skip a beat.

Not giving a shit about who might be watching, I broke out into a run. Travis moved forwards, dropping his bag just in time to sweep me into his arms and dip me into a passionate kiss. I laughed, winding my arms around his neck as his lips met mine and stayed there. Travis held me so close, kissed me until both of us couldn't breathe, and we finally pulled back to suck in deep breaths.

"I missed you my love." Travis murmured, resting his forehead against mine and letting out a relieved sigh.

"I missed you like crazy." I whispered, blinking up into those beautiful green eyes I fell in love with every time I looked into them. "How was your flight?"

"It was fine, but I'm glad it's over." Travis smiled, and I smiled back as he sighed and pulled me into a tight hug. I wrapped my arms tighter around his neck, closing my eyes as he buried his face in my neck.
