Taylor's POV

"Fuck!" I groaned as I became aware of a throbbing pain in my side of my head, blinking my eyes open to find that I was lying on the ground. What the hell had happened?

Looking around, I realized that I was in my apartment, which sounded about right. My head hurt like hell and I winced as I sat up, looking down to realize I was wearing a formal blue dress, a slit up one thigh with dark sparkles shimmering.

"Oh." I huffed. I'd been on my way out the door for a show tonight and had knocked myself out. What an idiot. As I got to my feet, my phone started ringing from nearby and I looked around, locating it on the bench. Reaching over, I picked it up. "Tree, hi."

"Hey Taylor honey, you about ready to go?" My publicist asked.

"Yeah, yeah sorry." I rubbed my head, making sure there was no blood. There wasn't; I was fine. "One minute and I'm out the door, I promise."

Tree laughed as I hung up, grabbing my shoes and stuffing my feet into them before heading out the door. My car was waiting for me, Tree sitting inside. She smiled when I got in, reaching over to tuck some hair back into place automatically. I smiled, nodding along as she went over the schedule, the car pulling out into the street.

"And then tomorrow you've got that meeting that Travis is sitting in on." Tree kept talking as we got out of the car at the set and I nodded for the hundredth time, not really listening. "Just so we can plan a little ahead, but you guys are pretty on top of it."

"Yeah." I mumbled, smiling as security held the door open for me. "Thank you."

I was miced up and placed backstage, excited for the show. I loved hanging out with Jimmy Fallon; he was just so fun and genuine and nice to be around. We were good friends on and off the screen, and it was a privilege to go on the show again with him. Not too long after I'd been waiting there, my name was being announced and I walked out to thunderous applause.

Smiling at the crowd, I lifted my hand in a little wave, laughing when I saw Jimmy rush over. He extended his hand and I took it, letting him lead me up the stairs and over to the little couch. We sat down, waiting for the applause to fade before Jimmy leaned forwards slightly, an indicator that he was going to start.

"So, Miss Taylor Swift, it's a pleasure to have you back on with us again."

"It's a pleasure to be back." I told him with a smile, which he returned effortlessly.

"Before we move onto the part of the show where you demolish me at whatever game we play..." Jimmy laughed and everyone joined in. "Let's chat a little bit about some things everyone's been wanting to hear your thoughts on lately."

"Hit me." I smiled, and Jimmy winked.

"Number one." He pointed to the screen, where my Eras Tour poster came up. "Any post touring blues?"

"Oh absolutely." I nodded. "That tour was my life for years. It was the most incredible time and I miss it so much, but I know there's many more exciting things to come that may I dare say, be even better."

"Ooh, interesting." Jimmy winked at the crowd. "I'm very curious, but I know better than to try and squeeze a secret out of Taylor Swift, so I'll move on. You've probably been asked about this a lot and I'm sorry to be one of those people, but we're all wondering..." A photo appeared on the screen of me standing next to a tall man, one I frowned at. "Has a certain someone popped the question yet?"

"What?" I laughed.

"Oh come on, you can tell us." Jimmy said playfully.

"No, I mean I would tell you." I assured him. "But I don't know what you're talking about." Jimmy chuckled, leaning back in his seat.
