Sydney Night 1
Taylor's POV
My heartbeat thumped erratically in my chest from the exertion as I descended, straightening up out of my bow and waving to the crowd for a split second before they vanished from sight. I smiled, letting out a sigh as I jumped down off the platform onto solid ground, handing over my microphone to the tech crew and shrugging out of my tasseled jacket so they could unhook me from the sound system. As soon as they'd given me the all clear, I crouched and pulled my feet out of the sparkly heeled boots, letting out a relieved sigh once they were off.
I went down to my dressing room, quickly changing my sparkly bodysuit and stockings for a short blue sundress. My skin was flushed and sweaty from the show, and the light fabric and flowy skirt would help me to cool down. I slipped on some soft fabric shoes and then exited to find security waiting to escort me out.
We walked out in silence, and as soon as I emerged from backstage, the stands of fans erupted into screams and cheers. I smiled, waving my hands at them and blowing kisses at all the eyes and cameras turned my way. Then I glanced away, towards the man waiting for me. I could see my Dad and a few other people standing a little further back, letting Travis be the one out in front.
"Hey girl." He murmured as I walked right into his arms, and the fans roared in response. Travis chuckled as I wrapped my arms around his neck, leaning in to kiss him. "They're really huge fans of us huh?"
"Oh yeah." I grinned. "Get used to it."
"Gladly." Travis pulled me into another kiss, his hands tightening on my waist. We kept it short, not wanting to give the internet more fuel than they already had to complain about it. We'd decided not to hide our relationship, but we still kept private things private and didn't need to start making out in front of all these cameras. "How's the feet?" Travis asked as he put an arm around me and we headed off.
"Not too bad." I shrugged, letting out a sigh as a hot flush crept up my neck. "You like the show?"
"Always." Travis kissed the top of my head, and I smiled as we headed out to the car.
"What was your favorite tonight?" I asked, even though he had the same answer every single time. He watched almost every show, mostly online, and I asked him that question every night.
"I think you know baby." Travis whispered, lowering his voice, and I smiled.
"Nothing will beat it huh?" I shook my head at him. Ducking his head, Travis pressed his lips against my ear.
"I'm very jealous of that damn chair." He said quietly, and I giggled just like I always did when he told me that, which was a lot. Heat shot right between my legs at the whisper of his lips against my ear and I bit my lip, sucking in a sharp breath. Travis brushed a hand over my forehead. "You're all sweaty baby. You need some water?"
"I'm okay, it's just a little warmer tonight."
Travis nodded, reaching out to open the car door for me as we drew closer. I sat back, waiting for him to come around to the other side. What was wrong with me? Normally after a show I was so tired that I only lasted until we got back to the hotel to eat something before passing out, but I felt so awake. And so...flushed. Unusually so.
"Hey." Travis nudged me, and I glanced up to see that he was already sitting in the car with me, and we were moving. "Where'd you go?" He chuckled. "You looked very far away."
"Are you tired?" I asked, trapped in his pale green gaze. God, I needed him. So damn badly. Travis went to answer and then faltered. I knew he recognized the look on my face. I gave him that look an awful lot, right before I dragged him somewhere out of sight to do things we really shouldn't be doing.
