Travis' POV
"Step." I murmured to Taylor, and she giggled, rolling her eyes at me.
"No shit." She said, taking my hand and stepping up out of the boat back onto the dock.
"Hey I'm just trying to be chivalrous." I told her.
"I know." Taylor smiled adorably, lifting up on her toes and pressing a kiss to my cheek as she weaved her fingers through mine. "You are."
I smiled. We thanked the boat driver as he waved us off, hand in hand as we walked back up to the villa I'd rented for just the two of us. Taylor had been elated at the surprise when we'd arrived. I'd known she needed days to relax in-between shows, so I'd talked to Tree and wrangled for a few days where I could have her all to myself. Just us. Well, us and the few cameras that had spotted us, but we couldn't have cared less. Let the world see. Love was something to be celebrated. Beautiful.
"God I love this place." Taylor sighed as we walked through the doors, leaning her head against my shoulder. I looked down at her as we strolled slowly down the regal entrance hallway, unable to look at anything else. Every day was still a miracle that I was with this woman, and I often had to give myself a few seconds to remember that she had chosen to be with me, that this wasn't all a dream. "Travis?" She looked up at me, and I realized she'd said something that I hadn't heard.
"Sorry?" I murmured, and she laughed. Usually this happened; me getting distracted by her.
"Daydreamer." Taylor teased. "I asked if you were hungry enough to make dinner yet."
"Yeah." I nodded; I was getting hungry. "What do you feel like?"
"Let's see what there is." Taylor grinned, giving a light tug on my hand.
We went down to the huge kitchen. The whole place was incredible, and the kitchen was no exception. Taylor forgot all about the fact that she was hungry as she looked around, pointing things out to me. I indulged her; it was really cute.
Eventually, we settled on some spaghetti bolognese and chatted as we cooked, weaving effortlessly around each other around the kitchen. Cooking together was something we did often, since why wouldn't you spend that time with each other? It was a lot of fun.
"Travis!" Taylor giggled as I stopped what I was doing, wrapping my arms around her from behind and kissing her neck. "Do you want this to burn?" She asked, but she couldn't stop the huge smile spreading over her perfect lips. "What are you playing at?" Taylor put down the wooden spoon, turning around in my arms.
I kissed her without a word, and Taylor let out a happy little sigh, slipping her arms up around my neck and pushing up on her toes to match my height. Being here with her, all alone in such a beautiful place, god it did things to me. I just wanted to hold her, kiss her, whisper sweet nothings in her ear until she was blushing that adorable shade of pink I loved so much. God, I loved her so much. I wanted her for the rest of my life.
"I love you baby." I murmured, my words coming out slightly mumbled since I couldn't stop kissing her.
"I love you too Travis." Taylor whispered, pulling back and peeking up at me. "You have no idea how much I love you. It's actually insane." She giggled, and hugged me close. "But you do have to let me go or this will burn." She kissed my cheek and then turned back around, picking the spoon up again. Dipping a kiss down onto her shoulder, I smiled.
Once we'd finished cooking, Taylor and I took the food out to eat diner just outside the villa where the staff had kindly brought a table out for us. Taylor thanked them again and again, insisting that they could relax, that we'd clean up the kitchen and they didn't have to worry about it.
