Taylor's POV

"Baby, you ready to go?" Travis called into the bathroom. "I really don't think your Dad's first impression of me should be that I run late."

"Okay, I'm coming, I promise." I laughed, putting the cap back on my mascara and coming out of the bathroom to find Travis waiting for me by the door. "Don't stress honey, he's going to love you." I told him, stretching up on my toes and kissing his cheek. "He knows I love you, so he's going to love you."

Travis nodded, but I knew he was really nervous about meeting my Dad for the first time. Our schedules had been so busy these last couple months that he hadn't met my Dad yet, so I'd taken the opportunity to invite him out to dinner with us before the show tomorrow. Travis had been worrying about this for weeks, scared that Dad wouldn't approve of him, and I'd spent the whole time trying to convince him that he would be fine.

"Do I look okay?" He asked me as I pulled some shoes on.

"You look gorgeous." I assured him, taking his face in my hands and stroking his short beard gently.

"Sorry." Travis sighed. "I know I'm stressing out too much."

"Hey, I'll help you relax." I whispered, stretching up and kissing him slowly, gently easing my tongue against his bottom lip. Travis groaned, pulling me close.

"Not fair." He sighed against my lips. "You can't do that to me right before we leave."

"Yes I can." I pulled back and turned for the door after shooting him a wink. I knew it drove him crazy when I kissed him like that, so I'd done it on purpose. Travis shook his head at me as we left, reaching over and grabbing my hand as we walked down to the elevator. "Don't be nervous honey, Dad's going to love you. He's only going to hate you if you make me unhappy."

"Well I'll never do that." Travis squeezed my hand, and I smiled up at him as we stepped into the elevator, hooking my purse higher up on my shoulder. "Is there anything, you know, that might make your dad like me more?"

"Well he likes football, although you might have to convince him to switch teams like you snagged me." I laughed, and he chuckled. "You'll be fine Travis. As long as you stay away from the idea that you're the guy who's sleeping with his daughter, you should be good."

"Right." Travis pulled me close, pressing a kiss to the side of my forehead as he murmured quietly. "Are you trying to make me fail here baby? Because now all I can think about is reaching under that little skirt and seeing just how much you want me right now." I bit down on a smirk, pressing my face into his shoulder so he wouldn't see me grinning. Maybe I had been trying to tease him a little; a girl had to have her fun. "You little minx." Travis sighed in my ear. "Do you have to do this tonight?"

"I'm not doing anything." I said innocently.

Travis just shook his head at me, smiling as we stepped out onto the ground floor. Security was waiting for us and escorted us out through the small crowd that had gathered out the front of the hotel, wanting to catch a glimpse. Travis squeezed my hand as he helped me into the car, sliding in next to me. The door shut behind him and then he was grabbing me and pulling me close, yanking me close and kissing me, hard. I fumbled in surprise and then grabbed the front of his shirt, holding him close.

"God you drive me fucking crazy." Travis sighed, pressing a kiss to my jaw. "The one night I need to have a clear head."

"Sorry." I whispered, even as I climbed on top of him in the backseat, straddling him so that my head almost bumped the roof.

"Quiet." Travis murmured as I gasped against his hands sliding under my skirt. "Don't want to distract your driver."

"He gets paid well." I mumbled, desperate for him. We hadn't spent much time together since he'd arrived this morning and I'd been rehearsing, and this was the first time we'd has enough time to share more than a chaste kiss.
