Christmas Day 2023
Taylor's POV

I studied myself as I looked in the mirror, letting my eyes drift up and down the outfit I'd picked out. A long-sleeved red top, a black and white plaid skirt, a black jacket with soft cream lining, black stockings with little black boots, and a little Santa hat with Travis' jersey number on it. I picked up the tiny vial of perfume I'd put down earlier, rolling it between my fingers as I thought back to when I'd received it.

"I promise you, it'll drive him crazy." Brittany giggled, pressing the little vial into my hand. "I used it one day when my parents had the kids for the weekend, and Patrick didn't let me leave the bedroom the whole time."

"Really, the whole time?" I raised my eyebrows at her, turning the vial over in my hand. "This stuff is really that powerful?"

"You're going to have him eating out of your hand girl." Brittany assured me. "Try it. See what happens."

I'd completely forgotten about the perfume until today, but I really wanted to see if it did what Brittany had claimed it did. She'd told me it was like magic; that it produced pheromones or something. Apparently, Travis would go nuts over it.

Unscrewing the cap, I rolled the end of it in small circles behind one ear and then the other before rubbing a little on the insides of my wrists. Then I grinned to myself, rubbing some on my ankles as well.

Don't judge me, you never know.

"Taylor, we're going!" Austin yelled down to me, and I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Coming!" I yelled back.

The game was incredible. I had a lot of fun there with both my family and Travis', and I adored the fact that our families had blended together so effortlessly. They'd been so supportive of our relationship, and they'd made it so easy for this to work. I spent most of the game at the front of the suite, talking and playing with one of the kids, who was so adorable it made my heart ache. When it was over, I said goodbye to my family for now - who'd be meeting us at the restaurant a little later - and went down the back of the stadium with Donna. There was only supposed to be a couple of us going down so it wouldn't get crowded, and I'd volunteered to just go with my parents, but Ed and Jason had insisted I go with Donna, and said they'd catch up with us soon.

And in a way, I was really glad they'd done that. It had only been half a day since I'd seen him last, but I missed Travis. I wanted to see him so badly.

"Hey Ma." Travis hugged Donna when the team had finished with their talk and got changed and come out to find us waiting for them. I hung back, smiling to myself as I watched their exchange. That was one of the reasons I was so damn sure Travis and I were so perfect; I'd never seen anyone love his family as much as he did. "Enjoy the game?"

"Always." Donna chuckled, patting his shoulder as she moved off to the side. "Go on." She told him, and Travis smiled, shaking his head at his Mom before moving towards where I was standing.

"Hey girl." He murmured, sweeping me into a hug that lifted me off my feet. I laughed, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"You did great out there babe." I told him, pressing my lips to his cheek as he set me down on my feet.

"Thank you so much for coming baby, it means so much to me that you were here." Travis hugged me tightly, burying his face in my neck. I laughed, stroking his hair as he held me close. "I can't tell you how much..." He paused, pulling back to frown at me.

"What?" I blinked, confused, before realizing. The perfume. But I kept a straight face.

"What is that?" Travis murmured, ducking down and pressing his face into my neck. I smirked to myself as he breathed in, and then he sighed. "Damn baby, you smell delicious. What the hell is that?" I giggled as he started kissing my neck, completely oblivious to the fact that we were in the middle of a crowded room.
