Taylor's POV

"Teffy, they're here!" Austin called up the stairs at me and I groaned. "Come on!" He insisted.

Grumbling, I put down my book and got up, going downstairs. I really didn't want to deal with this. I didn't want to meet my new step-siblings, have to live with them.

Fifteen years after Mom died, Dad had finally started dating again. Austin and I had been cool with that, but we hadn't expected he'd ask the woman to move in with him. Donna had been perfectly nice when I'd met her a few times, but it seemed like she was a replacement, and she was bringing two sons along with her. I was sick of living with two of my own male family members, and now that number was going to double. Apparently one of them was a few months older than me, and the other was a few years older who still lived at home. Luckily, I was in my last year of school and only had to deal with this for the last ten months of the year.

"Hi Taylor." Donna smiled at me when I stopped at the bottom of the stairs and I saw her coming through the door. Austin and Dad eyed me, and Dad shot me a warning look, telling me to behave. My brother had accepted this change a lot better than I had, and I didn't try to mask my emotions.

"Hi." I mumbled.

"These are my boys." She moved to the side as two more people walked in, and I looked over at them. "Taylor, this is my youngest, Travis, and Jason."

I looked at the older boy, with his light beard and friendly smile, and then looked at the younger one. My heart stopped, skipped a beat, and started again as ice filled my veins. Travis stared back at me, his green eyes piercing through mine as the memory of the party I'd been at six weeks ago flashed in my mind.

"I'm Travis!" The boy called over the music.

"Taylor!" I called back, shaking his hand with a smile. He was cute, and he'd been eyeing me up all night. I'd noticed, had made an effort to let him watch me dance, and he'd finally made his way over.

"What's a pretty girl like you doing here without a date?" He asked into my ear and I shrugged.

"No one good enough." I winked. "Why, wanna fill the spot?" I was drunk, horny, and this boy looked delicious. Travis chuckled and took my hand, so I downed my drink and fluttered my fingers at my friends. They winked at me as Travis led me out of the packed living room, towards the stairs.

My skirt rode higher up my thighs as Travis and I walked up the stairs, searching for a door that didn't have a ribbon tied to the handle. It was a really fancy house, and the girl whose birthday it was knew there'd be people hooking up so she'd put a system in place. Upstairs was the hookup zone, and if you were using a room, tie a ribbon to the handle so you weren't interrupted. There was a good reason I was friends with her.

Travis found an empty room and pulled me inside, grabbing the ribbon hung up by the door and tying it on the handle. We turned to each other once he'd closed the door, heat sparking as Travis advanced and kissed me.

We'd had sex that night, fooled around for at least an hour or two before parting ways. I never thought I'd see him again. But all this time, he'd been the son of the woman my Dad was dating. I felt sick.

"Umm." I coughed. "Hi. Nice to meet you." Travis and Jason nodded, and I tried to hide the blush on my cheeks as Travis looked away.

We helped them with their things, moving boxes in. Travis and Jason were moving into bedrooms upstairs that we'd used to use as an office and spare room, and Donna was obviously staying with my Dad. I avoided Travis as best I could without making it obvious, shutting myself in my room once we were finished.
