Prompt - "Maybe like she's wearing an Eagles jersey because she wants to tease him and than he gets angry because he only wants her to wear his number..."
"I'm home baby!" I heard the front door open and close, and footsteps as he took his shoes off.
"I'm in the kitchen!" I called back, taking a sip of my half full wine glass as I chopped vegetables. "Hey, how was practice?" I asked as he came through from the hallway, his bag hanging from his shoulder.
"Good, the team says hi." He dropped a light kiss on my cheek. "You still coming to the game tomorrow?"
"Course, wouldn't miss it." I nodded. "Want a drink?"
"Yeah, thanks. I'm gonna jump in the shower first though, I probably stink."
"A little." I told him.
"Cheeky." Travis smacked my ass lightly as he passed and I laughed, trying and failing to jump out of the way. I smiled to myself as I watched him go, taking another sip of my wine.
I hummed to myself as I cooked, dancing around the kitchen to the quiet music coming from the speaker I'd hooked my phone up to. The kitchen warmed up a little when I turned the stove on to cook the chicken, so I wriggled out of my jersey, leaving me in just the little gray Eagles shirt I was wearing underneath. A familiar song started playing and I started singing along properly, following along with the backing vocals instead of the actual lyrics.
"What on earth are you wearing?" Travis made me jump, and I turned around to see him coming out of the bathroom, changed out of his practice gear.
"Uh, clothes?" I glanced down at myself, pretending not to notice what his problem was. Jason had given me an Eagles shirt a few days ago, and I knew it would drive Travis crazy to see me wearing another team's logo and number. He teased me all the time, so I'd decided it was my turn to pull something on him for once.
"What's on your clothes?" Travis walked towards me slowly, and I glanced down at my shirt again, feigning innocence.
"It's just a shirt babe, what do you mean?" I frowned.
"You know exactly what you're doing." Travis told me, folding his arms as I put down my glass of wine and turned off the stove. "Why are you wearing a shirt with the Eagles logo on it?"
"You don't like it? Jason gave it to me." I turned around so he could see Jason's number printed in huge letters on the back. "It's pretty cool don't you think?"
"Take it off." Travis jerked his chin at me. "I don't want you wearing any other man's number."
"Aw, it's cute that you're jealous babe." I grinned at him, turning away and moving the pan off the stove. A second later, Travis' hand was circling my wrist and yanking me forwards against his body.
"Don't test me." Travis murmured against my ear and I shivered at the time of his voice. "Take that off, right now."
"Make me." I whispered, tilting my chin up.
"You think I won't?" Travis raised an eyebrow. I stared him down, holding my ground. I wanted to see what he'd do. "Fine." Travis spoke first. "But don't say I didn't warn you."
"Warn me?" I asked, but he was already pulling me from the room. I stumbled along behind him as he yanked me into our bedroom, pushing me down so I was sitting down on the edge of the bed.
"You do not wear any other number but mine." Travis grabbed the hem of my shirt, yanking it up and over my head. "Understood?" I didn't reply, just kept staring up at him defiantly. Travis hummed, taking my face in his hands and stroking my cheeks. "God you're so stubborn." He sighed.
