Taylor's POV

I slept almost the whole flight to Tokyo - which was a long one - so I was wide awake and fully rested when we touched down. I texted Travis to let him know I'd arrived safe and met my team at the stadium where they were constructing the stage. We started running through the show, practicing the choreography.

The shows went amazingly well, and I texted Travis every second of the day he wasn't busy and I wasn't on stage. It felt fantastic to perform again, though it did leave me far more exhausted than it normally did.

"Okay, go, go, go!" Everyone started rushing around as soon as I descended the stage, taking away my microphone and unclipping my sound system. "Straight into the car and to the airport Taylor." Callie, my stage manager, took the jacket from my shoulders. "Make sure you bring that bodysuit back."

"Thank you!" I called over my shoulder as I rushed away.

We'd pulled out everything we had so I would make it to Las Vegas in time to see Travis play, and it was looking very promising that I'd make it in time. The car took me right to the airport where the plane was waiting, and I passed through security quickly. Still wearing my bodysuit, boots, everything, I slumped down in one of the seats and ran my hands through my hair.

"Miss Swift?" Someone tapped on the frame as they came up the plane stairs. "We've hit a delay."

"How long?" I straightened up.

"We're not sure, but I'll keep you updated."

"Oh, okay." I leaned back. "Thank you."

I was left alone then, and I pulled out my phone to send a text to Travis.

Me: Delays at the airport, I'm sorry if this means I won't make it

Barely thirty seconds after I'd sent the text, my phone started to ring. I smiled to myself, answering immediately and holding it to my ear.

"Hey baby." Travis whispered. "Congratulations on the shows, I saw some videos. You did amazing."

"Thanks." I smiled to myself. "I'm in the plane right now, but apparently we're held up a little."

"Hey, that's okay. Why do you sound so worried?" Travis chuckled.

"Because I promised you I'd be there." I whispered.

"Baby, it's alright. We knew you might get held up." Travis reassured me. "I know you did the best you could. I understand."

"I'm still sorry." I sighed. "I really wanted to see you guys kill it out there."

"You still might. Just let me know okay."

"Okay." I smiled. "You gotta go huh?"

"Kinda."

"I love you." I whispered.

"I love you more." Travis murmured, and I smiled wider as he hung up.

I waited around for a while, tapping my hands on the arms of the seat. After a while, I went and changed out of my bodysuit and into some sweatpants and hoodie. Eventually, we took off at one in the morning, and I relaxed a little against the seat. We had to make a stop halfway there and it took a very long time because of some more delays.

I walked around a little while I waited, needing to stretch my legs. Security hovered, watching from a distance since the place was pretty deserted. I walked up and down the aisles of one of the shops, gazing at the products all stacked in a row. My eyes caught the pregnancy tests and I paused, licking my dry lips. I counted back in my head, thinking about the exhaustion and the alcohol that tasted funny and everything that had been going on. Swallowing, I reached for one.
