Travis' POV

I arrived at the office at my usual time; eight on the dot. Not once have I been late, and I wasn't about to start now.

"Hey, morning Travis!" Becs smiled at me when I walked down the hall out of the elevator onto the third floor.

"Hey." I smiled back, going over to the left where my desk was. Hers was right across from mine, so we spent a lot of time together. She was fun, easy to get along with, and good at her job. "How was your weekend?" I asked.

"Honestly, a nightmare." She huffed. "I was working because someone seriously fucked up. Leaked a song, it blew up, and Taylor is not happy about it."

"Seriously?" I raised my eyebrows, wondering how I hadn't heard about this. Becs was more the PR assistant while I did everything else, but it was weird I hadn't noticed that on social media or something. If one of Taylor's songs had leaked, it would have erupted over the globe.

"Yeah." Becs sighed. "We handled it as best we could, but..." She lowered her voice. "I just got a call from Tree. Word is that Taylor's on the warpath today. There's a couple other things going on and she's super pissed off, so Tree said it's probably best if you and I keep our heads down."

I nodded, giving her a relieved smile as I sat down and powered up my computer. That was a good idea. Taylor was an amazing boss, but when she was mad, it rained hell on the office. She had one hell of a temper, which I understood, but I didn't want to be one of the poor people on the other end of it today. Hopefully it would blow over soon; it normally did. She was just a very passionate person, which was great for what she did unless she was mad.

For a while, Becs and I chatted casually as we set some things up for the day, going over meetings and photoshoots and everything our job entailed. Just before eight-thirty, the elevator dinged. Becs and I exchanged a look before Taylor came into view, walking down the hallway as she talked quickly into her phone. Even if I hadn't been warned, I could immediately tell that my boss was not having the best day. Her cheeks were flushed, her long blonde hair a little tangled like she'd been running her hands through it in frustration. Even the way she walked radiated anger, her narrowed eyes staring straight ahead as she walked past our desks and into her office. I couldn't help myself but watch her go, my male gaze lingering on how her skirt fit tightly over her ass and displayed her long, sculpted legs.

Becs hit me over the head with a thick folder and I winced, glancing over to see that she'd come across to my desk and was standing in front of it.

"Stop perving." She told me. "She's eleven years older than you."

"I wasn't perving." I lied as Becs tossed the folder she'd hit me with down in front of me with a roll of her eyes like she didn't believe me.

"International stadium availability." She explained, and I nodded, reaching for it as she turned and went back to her own desk.

I buried myself in my work, trying desperately not wipe the image of Taylor from my mind. Yeah, she was eleven years older than me, and yeah, she was my boss, but I was nothing more than a guy. And she was hot as fuck, anyone could see it. I'd never do anything about it, but there was no harm in having an office crush, even if it was on your world-famous boss.

As I inputted all of the dates into a spreadsheet, the phone on my desk started to ring. Pausing what I was doing, I saved the spreadsheet just in case and then reached over to pick it up.

"Taylor's office, Travis speaking."

"Hey...Travis." A male voice that sounded vaguely familiar spoke back. "It's Joe. Is Taylor busy at the moment?"
