Travis' POV

"Taylor!" Brittany squealed when I led her and Patrick out into the back garden and saw my girlfriend sitting on one of the couches around the firepit chatting away with Jason and Kylie.

"Hey Britt!" Taylor jumped up, the two women embracing each other tightly.

"How've you been?" Brittany asked. "It's so good to see you!"

Taylor had arrived two days ago, taking the time out of her busy rehearsal schedule to stay with me for a few weeks. She'd completely spoiled me yesterday for my birthday and we'd spent the whole day together. We'd organized to have some people over tonight as sort of a birthday for me/catch up for Taylor so that everyone could see her again. She'd slipped into my world so effortlessly, and I swore most of my friends preferred her to me now. We often joked about it.

Brittany immediately started showering Taylor with questions about the tour, about what she'd been doing as Patrick and I sat down. Soon after, Aric and Ross showed up just as the sun started to set in the sky. It was really nice just hanging out with some friends, having a few drinks, seeing Taylor smiling as she caught up with everyone who hadn't seen her in a while.

I tried to involve myself in the conversation, but my attention - as it always was - was captured by the beautiful blonde curled up on the couch next to me. She'd normally be cuddled up in my arms or on my lap, but she was talking very animatedly with Brittany, wrapped up in their conversation. Those two had become attached at the hip ever since they'd met, and they were practically sisters now. It was really sweet, but they always rolled their eyes whenever we teased them about being twin sisters separated at birth.

The evening turned a little chilly as the sun dipped below the horizon so I threw some more wood on the fire to keep it going, and soon the flames were crackling high, dancing like fireworks. We went through a few drinks each, all of us getting a little buzzed from the fun of hanging out, the evening fire, the chattery conversations. It was so nice to just relax out of the public eye, knowing we didn't have cameras on us. I knew we all didn't mind the fame that came with our respective careers, but times like this were important too.

"No I swear!" Brittany jumped to her feet, grabbing Taylor's hand and giving it a tug. "I'll show you!" She giggled. "I'll do it!"

"No you won't, you're all talk!" Taylor giggled back, clutching her wine glass so it wouldn't spill as she got up. All four of us guys exchanged a look at the two women as Brittany steadied herself and then blinked.

"Never mind." She admitted.

"Told ya." Taylor smirked. I exchanged a shrug with Patrick, amused by whatever tipsy exchange they were having. Taylor was a little bit of a lightweight, and I knew Brittany was too. "It's like this." She giggled, looking over at me. "Travis I need you to be my chair."

"Scuse me?" I laughed.

"Britt swore she knew the Vigilante Shit dance and she'd do it but she's too chicken."

"Thought we kept this in the bedroom but alright." I murmured, since Taylor was already walking over to me. Well, not walking. Stumbling a little.

Somehow managing to keep hold of her wine, Taylor used it as a prop microphone. She murmured the lyrics to that sexy song under her breath, tripping over the words as she seated herself on my lap. Whistles and teasing cheers erupted from our friends as Taylor giggled, arching her body in an even sexier way than when she performed it on stage. I sat back, letting her. Because who wouldn't? When Taylor Swift wanted to give you a lap dance, you let her.

She winked at me when she was done, leaning in and giving me a long kiss. Taylor was such a flirty drunk - even more than she was when she was sober, which was saying something - and I adored that about her. I smiled, slipping my hands up into her hair and deepening the kiss.
