Taylor's POV

"Oh show me again." Brittany begged.

"You've seen it a million times!" I giggled, but reached into my pocket and took out the little ring box. Opening it, I handed it to Brittany.

"I can't believe this!" She sighed, running her thumb over the silver band I'd had made custom for Travis. "I think it's so great you're proposing to him. He'll never see it coming."

"I know." I blushed.

I'd thought about it for a while, wondering if Travis would like it or not. But eventually, I'd decided to swallow my worries and just do it. I was going to propose to him tomorrow, on our two year anniversary. I was so nervous I felt like I might throw up, but I'd never been so excited in my life. Travis and I had talked about our future a few times so I knew he did want to get married, which was the main reason I had decided to do this. There were no rules saying I couldn't be the one to propose.

"You two are going to be so happy." Brittany smiled, closing the ring box and handing it back to me. "Have you planned it all out?"

"Kind of." I wrinkled my nose. "I mean I got a photographer. Travis and I are having lunch somewhere and then going for a walk through the park where we went after our first date, so I'm going to do it there. I don't have a clue what I'm going to say." Letting out a sigh, I put the ring box back in my pocket and leaned back on the couch. "Figured in the moment, I'll just spill my heart out you know." Brittany nodded.

Then I heard the front door open and the familiar sound of Travis coming home. Scrambling to my feet, I quickly grabbed the ring box from my pocket and hid it on one of the bookshelves, right on the bottom at the back since Travis never used anything from there. It was just old boxes. Once I'd stashed it there, I quickly sat down next to Brittany. Travis smiled when he came in, putting his phone on the table.

"Hi." I whispered, leaning over the back of the couch.

"Hey baby." He murmured, tucking his fingers under my chin and lifting it to give me a kiss. "Hey Britt." He smiled at her when he pulled back. "Don't let me interrupt your gossip session."

"Yeah we were just getting started on you." I joked, and he rolled his eyes at me.

"I need to get going anyway, early start tomorrow." Brittany sighed, standing up. "Thanks for this Taylor, it was really nice to hang out again."

"Yeah it was." I got up and hugged her before walking her to the door.

"Good luck." She whispered as she stepped outside. "I can't wait to hear about it."

"I'm so nervous." I breathed. Brittany huffed me again.

"You'll be fine, he loves you." She reassured me. "I'll see you later."

I smiled and waved her off before closing and locking the door. Travis was scrolling through emails on his phone when I came back into the living room and he put it down when I climbed onto his lap, straddling his hips and resting my arms around his neck.

"Hey you." He murmured.

"Hey." I smiled. "I missed you today." He'd left before I'd woken up for a long training day and some interviews, and I wasn't used to my morning at least not including him.

"I missed you too baby." Travis slipped his hands under my shirt to cup my waist, pulling me closer. "But hey, we've got all day to ourselves tomorrow. No work, just us."

"Can't wait." I whispered, leaning in and pressing my lips softly against his. Travis smiled, sliding his hands up my back to hold me close against him as I leaned against his chest. His tongue slipped into my mouth as I started tugging on his shirt, easing it up over his head. Dropping it on the floor, I traced my hands slowly over Travis' chest, dipping my fingers into every groove between his muscles. I took my time, soaking in every fraction of a second. There was something about the knowledge of what I was going to do tomorrow that made me appreciate even more the moment I had with this man.
