"So, tell me more about this guy." Selena passed me a glass of wine over the back of the couch and came around to sit next to me. I sighed, staring down into the glass. "Oh, come on Taylor! I know you've got more information to spill, and I am dying to know every dirty detail." She nudged me when I didn't say anything. "Are you guys dating? Has he kissed you yet?"

"I don't know, and no." I glanced up at her, a slightly sheepish smile on my lips. "We're both just taking it slow. I mean, Joe and I only broke up a little while ago and Travis wanted to make it easier for me to get used to the idea of a new relationship. I didn't want to put a label on it until I was ready. We're just testing the waters right now."

"How many times have you seen him?" Selena pressed for more details.

"Three." I told her. "Once for dinner at a restaurant he rented out, then we got coffee a few days later, and he cooked me dinner at his house last week."

Travis Kelce. Renowned football player, famous in his field, and a total sweetheart. I loved spending time with him and adored the times we spent texting, but I was still trying to figure out who I was without Joe. Travis was everything I could have ever wanted in a guy, but I didn't want to rush into something that I knew would be so great if we did it right. He understood that, but I think he was also a little disappointed behind the understanding smile he'd given me.

"But he likes you right?"

"He made that clear pretty early on." I took a sip of wine. Travis had laid his cards out on the table pretty soon; telling me that he had feelings for me, and he wanted to get to know me better. He hadn't officially asked me out because he knew I hadn't wanted him to. Instead, he'd put the ball in my court. I could label our relationship when I was ready. I recounted this to Selena, and she smiled and shook her head.

"Man, what do I have to do to find a guy that sweet?" She sighed wishfully. "He sounds really great."

"He is." I hid a smile behind another sip of wine, thinking back to the last text he'd sent me just before Selena had knocked on my door. 'Have fun, don't think about me too much.' He was flirty and cheeky over the phone, lightly teasing me just as I teased him. We fit together like two puzzle pieces. "You know." My cheeks flushed slightly. "In some ways I think he's the one." That was such a wild thing to say when I wasn't even dating him, but it was true. Selena gasped excitedly, clapping her hands together.

"Oh my god that's so amazing!" She smiled widely, and then leaned forwards. "Please let me sing at your wedding."

I laughed, smacking her leg lightly as she jumped backwards, wine sloshing around in her glass. We moved off the topic of my love life after that, since there wasn't much more to talk about apart from everything I'd already told her. Selena pretty much knew all the details anyway. I filled her in the second there was something new to share.

After about half an hour, the doorbell rang.

"Pizza's here!" Selena jumped up.

"There's cash in my wallet by the door!" I called after her down the hallway and heard the sound of the door opening a few seconds later. Selena chatted with the delivery person for a moment, and then the door closed.

"Special delivery for Miss Taylor Swift." She announced when she came back into the room, dumping a bouquet of pink lilies into my lap. "Came with the pizza."

"Really?" I picked up the flowers, noticing the small notecard tucked between them. Reaching in, I flipped it over. 'I know you and Selena were set on a total girls night, but hopefully she doesn't mind me sending you these as well. Happy Valentines Day beautiful.'  My cheeks flushed red as I read the card twice, three times. We weren't even dating, but he had sent me flowers - my favorite flowers - for Valentines Day. Selena folded herself back onto the couch next to me and I passed her the card to read. "Travis sent them." I murmured, turning back to the flowers and leaning in to smell them.
