Travis' POV

A few of Taylor's fans noticed me as I walked through the floor to the VIP tent, screaming and waving at me. I waved back at a few of them, smiling as Taylor sang her way through the folklore/evermore set on stage.

I'd rushed back to her from what I'd had on the days before, hoping to make it in time to see Taylor before the show, but a delay at the airport meant I'd only just arrived. I knew Taylor would still appreciate it that I'd come, and I couldn't wait to see her face when she realized I was here. She was under the impression I wasn't coming back to see the tour until next week, but I'd decided to surprise her tonight.

I was greeted warmly in the VIP tent by everyone inside, exchanging hugs and a few words with some of them as they made room from me at the front. My eyes were caught on the stage where Taylor was clad in the gorgeous red dress, vines twining around the middle of her chest. It was one of my favorite outfits she wore on tour, since it made her look like a fairy.

Less than a minute later, I saw Taylor's eyes flutter over towards the VIP tent. They locked on me and her angelic face immediately broke out into the most delighted smile I'd ever seen, every part of her lighting up like I was the only thing she'd hoped to see. I smiled back at her as her eyes lingered on me but she tried to stay in performance mode, wishing I could have been earlier so I didn't have to wait to pull her into my arms. But even so, I was just so glad I was here.

The show was incredible, as it always was. Taylor was glowing the whole time, putting on an incredible show, putting her heart and soul into every note she sung, every choreographed move, every wink and smile into the crowd. As I always did when I watched her perform, I fell even more in love with her.

People thought that Taylor put on a mask when she performed, and she kind of did, but it was only a mask of professionalism. One that meant she threw herself into her performances and didn't worry about if she had a cold, or if it was raining, or if there were any malfunctions. The Taylor up on stage, that was the real version. She poured her heart and soul into this tour, and I knew she was going to be so devastated when it was over. But it wasn't like she hadn't planned other things to look forward to, which I had the honor of knowing about. Taylor told me everything she was allowed to, knowing I'd never tell a soul, and it was amazing seeing the brains and planning behind every little thing her and her team did.

As Karma started playing, one of the security guards came over by the tent. I smiled and said goodbye to everyone inside before moving out to go over to him, nodding that I did want to go backstage. They always came to take me backstage, since Taylor loved it when I was the first person waiting for her to come off. Her family often joked she loved me more than them now.

I was offered a few friendship bracelets as I walked on the other side of the barricade and thanked Taylor's fans as I accepted a few, smiling at how much they smiled at me. Her fans were really protective of Taylor, and I loved how they'd accepted me into her world and always loved seeing the two of us together. Waving at the fans I passed, I slung the few beaded bracelets onto my wrist. I was led past the stage and down backstage to wait for Taylor as the song finished, the band blaring out the final notes, the lights and confetti sparkling in the evening light.

Moving to stand out of the way of the backstage crew, I stood to wait for Taylor. I heard the commotion as she came down, and a minute later there she was, still in her boots and bodysuit with her hair a little messy and wavy around her angelic features. Taylor's face broke out into a huge smile when she saw me waiting and she quite literally jumped into my arms for a koala hug. I chuckled, hugging her tightly and feeling at home as her sweet scent of lavender enveloped me like a blanket.

"You." Taylor giggled. "Are one sneaky man Travis Kelce."

"Surprise." I whispered, kissing her shoulder.

"Thank you for coming Travis, I'm so happy you're here." My girlfriend smiled, pulling back to kiss me softly. "I just want to spend every second of every day with you." She breathed.

"Soon baby." I reminded her. "Soon."

Taylor nodded, hugging me tightly again as I swayed gently from side to side. Soon. Soon she'd finish the tour, and soon she'd move in with me in Kansas City. We still had a lot to work out, but we wanted this and that meant we'd figure it out. Taylor would make trips to New York every so often for work, but aside from that we were pretty sure we could make it work. How could we not? I loved her, she loved me, and that was all she needed.

Eventually, Taylor got down and we started making our way out to leave the stadium. Cheers and roars from the crowd erupted from the side stands as we appeared, my arm around her shoulders and her hand in mine. Taylor smiled, lifting her other hand to wave at them. I watched her, always loving the sight of her interacting with the fans that loved her so much.

Deciding to act a little playful, I dropped my arm from her shoulders and jogged forwards to move ahead of Taylor. A few feet in front, I spread my arms towards the blonde in a comical look-at-her! gesture. The crowd went wild and Taylor looked at me, giving me a cute little 'really?' face before breaking character. She laughed, reaching out and looping her arm through mine. I smiled to myself as the crowd waved us off, Taylor grinning from ear to ear.

"You're such an idiot you know." She told me as I opened the car door for her where it waited for us.

"You love it." I teased, and Taylor winked playfully as I got in after her.
