a.n okay guys so we are back to daily updates because lets be honest, its a lot more fun this way
but keep in mind i am a first year uni student so i dont spend enough time writing to keep up with daily updates, so once all of the scheduled parts are out, it's going to be updated whenever i have the time to write a new chapter if that makes sense to everyone

but ive got a bunch of parts already written so that won't happen for a while

enjoy <3

Taylor's POV

"I'm home!" I called out into the silent apartment, struggling with the bags through the door and into the front hallway before kicking it shut behind me. "Joe?" No answer. I sighed and went into the kitchen, dumping the grocery bags on the counter before going off to see if he was maybe in the shower or something. He wasn't, so I pulled my phone out of the back pocket of my jeans and texted him.

Me: Where are you? I got all the stuff we needed for dinner

Sticking my phone back in my pocket, I went to go and unpack the groceries. When I was finished and checked my phone almost ten minutes later, he'd texted back.

Joe: Some friends asked me out for drinks. Don't wait up

Me: I thought you were staying in tonight

Joe: Change of plans

Me: Do you have to stay out late? Why don't you just have a drink or two then come home?

Minutes ticked by, and I didn't get a reply, so I put my phone down. Had he forgotten what today was? The re-release of 1989 was in a couple hours, and he'd promised to stay home and celebrate with me. I'd even bought a bottle of his favorite wine for the occasion. Now it looked like I'd be celebrating all by myself.

I looked around the kitchen, suddenly losing all motivation to make the nice dinner I'd planned out. With another sigh, I found my computer and went to sit on the couch. I opened up the countdown to the release of the album, all the stats blank for now. I liked to track the stats, sales, and streams of all of my albus from the moment of their release, and this was no different. Grabbing a blanket, I turned on the TV and settled in to wait as the countdown ticked away.

I woke to a crashing sound a little while later and jolted up from where I was lying on the couch, the blanket falling to the ground. The TV was still on; episodes ahead of where I remembered. My computer had timed out and was just sitting in front of me, blank.

"Is that you Joe?" I called out, rubbing my eyes as I glanced at the time. 1:36 am.

"Hey babe!" Joe stumbled out from the dark hallway and into the room, jacket wonky and hanging half off his shoulder.

"Again?" I sighed, grabbing his hands as he tripped his way over to me. "I thought we talked about this." Joe just shook his head at me, not listening. "Okay, come on, I'll take you to bed." Once I got Joe into our bedroom, I sat him down on the bed and convinced him to let me take the jacket from his shoulders. As I moved to put it away, Joe grabbed my waist and pulled me back, burying his face in my stomach. "What?" I almost groaned, dropping the jacket on the bed beside him and resting my hands on his shoulders. Joe only acted like this when he'd done something wrong. It normally meant he'd cheated on me, but I'd thought we'd moved past that phase. Apparently not.

"I'm sorry Taylor." He mumbled against my shirt. I looked down, notice the dark smudge against his skin that disappeared beneath his shirt. Pulling the collar aside, I saw the mess of hickies and smudges of dark pink lipstick underneath. I ran my fingers across them, some lipstick rubbing off on my skin as I did so.
