The Young Wolf sighed under her breath as she raised her Cowgirl helmet and fastened it on her head, moving towards the cockpit of her ship so she could start heading back towards the HELM.
She's been camping out in her small little room on board for the past few days, not ready to go and face her girlfriend yet so, she had done what she had done so many times before.
For years, whenever she had needed a rest she had flown her ship down to earth to a small little village on the outskirts of the EDZ that was completely devoid of life except the stray deer here and there and a few wild dogs.
There was this beautiful clearing that was right behind the village, just big enough to fit a ship so that was where she usually set down and made camp for a few hours of shut eye over the years.
These past few days, were no different.
But today was the Coalition meeting to discuss the fifteenth wish, and how now they could only send one person inside the portal to destroy the Witness.
Which would no doubt, be her...
This was also the first meeting in months where everyone in the Coalition would be in attendance, including her fireteam.
She'd bet her life that they will have a few choice words about sending her in alone...
But, there was nothing any of them could do about it, Savathûn had crafted the wish as such and now, they had to play to the Witch Queen's game once more.
The Guardian was getting really tired of all her tricks if she was being honest...
But, because everyone was going to be there today, including her girlfriend it was time she talk with the Queen about what happened a few days ago, to clear the air between them.
She's had enough time to sort through her thoughts, so after the meeting she'd head back to the Dreaming City with her and they'd talk about it.
But, she had to get through this no doubt long meeting first.
She quickly punched in the coordinates for the HELM and took her seat in the pilot chair, grabbing ahold of the control sticks and pulling her ship off the ground to hover in midair before maneuvering it upwards into the atmosphere.
Once she was in orbit, she turned the ship ninety degrees and started flying towards the Moon, where she could just make out the HELM hovering off in the distance, a small speck across her window.
It only took thirty seconds to get there, and once she did, the closer she got the more ships she saw hovering outside the mobile control center. There was an Eliksni skiff, a Cabal drop ship, two Awoken jump ships and about a dozen or so Guardian ships.
She wasn't kidding when she said everyone was going to be here today...
She pulled her ship in, hovering in place right next to Saint's before disengaging her thrusters and allowing the ship to anchor in place with the stabilizers underneath the hull.
She then wasted not a moment before getting out of her seat and transmatting into the HELM.
Coincidentally, right next to Crow...
