The Young Wolf sighed to herself as she sat around the campfire, alone.

She and Cayde had just got done explaining their visions to everyone, both of them leaving out certain aspects of it due to the personal connections, but the message was the same.

Devotion, Bravery, Sacrifice, Death...

The Guardian tenants, the Traveler wanted them to remember the tenets. For what, the Titan didn't know but what she did know was it was trying to help them, her new powers were a testament to that.

Zavala, was the only one in the group who didn't quite agree with that statement though.

He believed that it wasn't enough, that faith alone would not kill the Witness which, the Titan agreed with, it couldn't kill the Witness, but together...they could.

Zavala was so focused on striking the Witness, to landing a blow that hurt, he was forgetting that he had friends beside him that would willingly die to end this war.

But, there wasn't much the Guardian could do about that, the only thing she could do was stand beside her commander until the end.

Even if he was too distracted to notice...

"You good?" Ghost asked, appearing above her right shoulder and bumping his shell against her un-helmeted cheek.

"Yeah." The Titan sighed, "Just...thinking." She said, more specifically about her own vision.

She understood most of it, the scenes that the Traveler showed her along with the words Gisela said to her or, well it wasn't really Gisela but she got the gist.

Devotion to her family, to Mara and to Isabella.

Bravery, fighting alongside her friends on the battlefield, back to back and not once breaking stride, not once backing down from impossible odds.

Sacrifice...her tomb.

She didn't need anyone to tell her what, that meant...

But for some reason, that first scene kept replaying in her mind. There was something to Mara's look that just, made her confused.

She understood the emotions she had seen but, there was something else, a sparkle in the Queen's glowing irises that grabbed her attention.

She still hasn't figured it out though, and it was kind of annoying her.

And why had her hand been rubbing her stoma—

"You still there?" Ghost asked wryly, floating right in front of her face and blinking his optic in confusion, "I lost you there for a second."

The Titan shook her head, "Yeah, I'm good. Just, thinking about my Vision." She said, making Ghost nod his shell.

"Yeah...I was hoping for more. I know you were too. I've been turning it over in my head, trying to understand what it might mean though." He said, making the Guardian tilt her head.

"What've you got?"

"Yours and Cayde's vision showed the both of you what you needed to see, told you what you needed to hear. What WE needed to hear. If...If we don't make it out of here. I want you to know that I don't regret any of it. I'm yours, and you're mine." Ghost said, but before the Titan could respond, he continued on.

"We're all connected. Your vision showed you that, too. Nothing has ever felt more true, except knowing you were my purpose when I found your bones."

"We're in this together, Guardian. Until the end."
