"Listen up Glitter Bums. This is First Ghost Immaru talking. You're still trying to get through the Witness's portal, eh? That ain't a door you can just kick open. You even asked some leftover worm for answers. Too bad she led you right to us. Now you need help from the one witch no one can trust: my boss, Savathûn. Even though she's temporarily dead, she's left instructions for this very situation. As usual, you maggots are three steps behind. Savathûn will help you on one condition first, deal with her sister, Xivu Arath. She's the Hive God of War and the Witness's best general. It's a win-win, see? Don't look so sour. You've already got everything you need...I suggest you start with a Witch of your own." The comm channel shut off and the Young Wolf, from her place sitting in the pilot seat of her ship clenched her jaw in anger at the ghost's words.
"No fear. No hate. No anger." She murmured under her breath, trying to calm the raging inferno inside her body, connecting her mind with the weave and embracing the current.
"No fear. No hate. No anger." She sighed, finally calm enough to open her eyes again which she had closed in her meditative state. But as soon as her brown eyes opened, it gave her a clear view of the portal etched into the side of the Traveler from her place hovering just outside the HELM.
Instead of filling her with guilt and shame like it would've months ago though, she was merely filled with a determination that none could rival.
They would deal with Xivu, Savathûn would tell them how to get through that portal and she would then fly through and take out that...abomination filled with centuries year old hate once and for all, know as the Witness.
No matter what.
"Set a course for the Throne World." She said towards Ghost, flipping a few of the switches on the console, activating the engines and turning the ship around in the direction of their destination before settling back in her pilot chair as her friend started to set the course.
"All green guardian." He said after a few moments, causing the Young Wolf to grab the joystick to the right of her seat and push it forward, making her ship jump into hyperspace, speeding towards Savathûn's Throne World.
As soon as her ship was in hyperspace though, the voice of Eris Morn echoed out across her ship's comm channel.
"Guardian. The Witness posses a dire threat, and the witch queen holds the answers we seek. But only if we contend with her sister. As you heard, Immaru has promised us a method for defeating Xivu Arath, arranged by Savathûn before her death."
"There is a spire atop her throne world sanctum, a place of dire experiments where she abused the light. With this knowledge, Immaru and I have designed a powerful artifact infused with Hive magic. It will allow you to dispel the Witch Queen's trickery, and master the spire through a ritual of our own."
It only took the Young Wolf another few minutes before she entered the Throne World and when she did, she steered her ship over towards the Florescent Canal and transmatted right outside Savathûn's Sanctum.
As soon as her feet touched the ground, she grabbed her Epochal Integration Hand Cannon, her new favorite weapon resting along her back before running towards the direction of the spire.
She didn't even get a few feet before Ikora came on over the comm channel, "Even in death, the Witch Queen lays her snares for us. Be careful, Guardian." The Warlock Vanguard said, concern for the young woman in her tone which made the Young Wolf smile under her helmet as she continued up the osmium stairs.
The concern was appreciated, especially coming from Ikora.
But it wouldn't be needed...
"This is a real privilege, so act like it. Savathûn doesn't open her spire to just anyone." Immaru said and even though the Titan couldn't see him, she could practically feel the glare he directed at her, causing the woman to roll her eyes.
