Early the next morning found the Young Wolf walking towards the Landing area of the Pale Heart, after having gotten a full eight hours of sleep the night before.

When she had woken up and finally got out of her bed, or more accurately gotten out of her fiancée's embrace she had met up with Cayde at the HELM and he had mentioned something about some high value target wandering around the Pale Heart and asked her if she wanted to tag along with him and Crow.

She was quick to agree, because there was no way was she having Cayde and Crow going after some top priority target alone without backup.

Especially with Cayde's...reputation.

So with a quick goodbye to her fiancée, who would be cleansing more of those fissures of light today she made her way down towards the landing while Crow and Cayde remained on comms.

"This is the spot Micah told me about," Crow said as the woman made it to the Landing, her Parade armor set glinting in the fabricated sunlight of the Pale Heart and surprisingly, she didn't see any Hive or Taken around.

But she knew better than to let her guard down so she grabbed her Epochal and started to scan the area while Crow continued talking, "The Witness is experimenting with Dark Ether and Screebs." He said, making the Guardian grimace in disgust, "We should track down all the targets we can, destroy them and try to contain their Ether." He said.

"Okay, first step of every successful mission is a codename...I'm thinking, "Operation Finger Guns." Think about it. We can do this! And we know what we're talking about." Cayde replied and the Titan could hear the grin along his metal face even if he wasn't there yet making the Young Wolf bit her lip to smother her smile.

"Really?" Crow deadpanned, only furthering the young woman's amusement.

"I'm not hearing any bright ideas coming outta either of you."

The Titan hummed under her breath as she continued to patrol around the Landing, "I mean, I could probably think of a better name than that. I still remember all the code names you used to use for our missions. Remember Operation Bunny Soup?" She asked wryly, smirking when she heard the exo huff from the other side of the comm channel.

"We agreed, to never bring up Bunny Soup again Guardian." He said, oddly seriously which caused the woman to snort under her breath.

"Just an example partner." The Guardian replied back, the smirk not once leaving her face.

"What's...Bunny Soup?" Crow asked, confusion and slight amusement bleeding into his tone.

"An operation, that we will never speak of again." Cayde said firmly, "And if you ever blab about it to anyone Kid, I will find you and I will make you wish you had stayed dead."

"Alright! No need to get hostile Cayde." Crow said making the Titan giggle over the comm channel.

"I mean...I had fun during that mission. I don't know why you had such a problem with it Cayde." She pursed her lips to try and stop her giggling but the hunter must've heard from her tone alone how funny she thought this was.

She would never let him live "Bunny Soup" down...

Ever...

"You know damn well why I had such a problem partner." He replied darkly, but she could tell he wasn't really mad at her.

She chuckled one last time under her breath before focusing on the mission at hand. She got back to work in patrolling the Landing and after a few passes of the area, she watched as a pack of glowing Screebs appeared and ran straight for her.
