TW~Self-harm and injury.
Y/N's POV
I sat in the bathroom, tears streaming down my face as I stared at my arms, the cuts and scrapes a painful reminder of the hate I had seen on social media. The comments were cruel, the messages relentless, and I couldn't handle it anymore. I had fought so hard to overcome my struggles with self-harm, but the words of strangers had broken me down.
As I traced my fingers over the wounds, I heard the door creak open, and before I could react, Chris was kneeling beside me, his eyes filled with concern and love. "Baby, what happened?" he whispered, his voice trembling with emotion.
I couldn't find the words to explain, so I just cried, as Chris came over and looked across my arms, where the evidence of my relapse was. His expression shifted from concern to anguish, and he gently took my hands in his, his touch warm and comforting. "Oh, baby, I'm so sorry," he murmured, his eyes filled with tears. "I wish I could take all your pain away."
He helped me stand up, leading me to the living room where he sat me down on the sofa. He disappeared into the bathroom for a moment, returning with a first aid kit. He sat beside me, silently cleaning my wounds with gentle hands, his touch tender and soothing. With each bandage he placed on my skin, I could feel his love and support wrapping around me like a warm embrace.
Once he finished attending to my wounds, he pulled me into his arms, holding me close as he pressed soft kisses to my forehead. "I love you so much, (Y/N)," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion. "I'll always be here for you, no matter what."
I buried my face in his chest, letting his warmth and love wash over me. The pain didn't disappear entirely, but with Chris by my side, I felt a glimmer of hope in the darkness. He held me tightly, his arms a sanctuary against the harsh world outside.
Soon, Matt and Nick joined us on the sofa, both of them silent but supportive. Chris explained what had happened, and they nodded understandingly, offering their own words of comfort and encouragement. The reason Chris told them was because Matt actually was the first one i got to know out of the triplets, and he foumd out, then Nick saw the scars about a year later, so he knew too.
Together, the four of us sat in a comforting silence, the air heavy with love and understanding.
Chris suggested we watch a movie to distract ourselves, and soon enough, we settled on The Lion King. As we watched Simba's journey unfold on the screen, I found myself wrapped in a cocoon of warmth and love, surrounded by the people who cared for me the most.
Halfway through the movie, Chris pulled me into his lap, his arms securely around me as he pressed kisses to my neck. "I love you, (Y/N)," he murmured, his voice filled with tenderness. "You're so brave and strong, and I'm so proud to be your boyfriend."
I smiled weakly, my heart overflowing with gratitude for the man who had stood by me through thick and thin. "I love you too, Chris," I whispered, leaning back into his embrace. "Thank you for everything."
