Y/N'S POV

Ugh. I can't believe Corey actually persuaded me to come to his party. His party was for his success in his YouTubing career and as I'm his best friend I'm allowed to say, what successes? But seriously, he has got a pretty successful YouTube channel and I couldn't be prouder of him.

I only know a few people at this party, so I'm trying to hang around with them, I just hope they don't think I'm annoying.

"Y/N! Come meet my friend!" Corey shouts over the blaring music. I roll my eyes and whine a bit before making my way over to him and his...insanely attractive friend.

"Hey, who's this handsome man?" I ask as the mystery man blushes a deep red.

"Y/N, this is Sam Golbach, Sam this is Y/N Y/L/N. Right, I'm going now, have fun and no making out!" Corey introduces before he walks off, leaving me and Sam together. I must say, I could get used to seeing Sam around.

"Nice to meet you Sam." I say. "Nice to meet you too, I take it Corey dragged you here?" Sam asks and I respond with a single nod.

"Corey's my best friend, I think I have to be at these kind of events, I'm basically VIP." I said with a laugh, and thankfully Sam laughs as well.

"So, do you do YouTube?" He asks with a hint of curiosity in his voice. "Eh, you could say that. I'm not high up in the followers, but I do exploring of abandoned places and some paranormal stuff." I state, and Sam looks a bit shocked.

"Me and Colby actually do ghost hunting stuff and we use to explore abandoned places. You should join us for our next trip!" He exclaims happily. "Yeah, maybe I should." I reply with some excitement.

"Well, I've gotta go and talk to Colby and Jake, it was really nice to meet you. Hey, maybe I could take you out on a date?" He suggests, as I feel my heart rate increase slightly.

"Of course you can, give me a time and place." I answer, and he thinks for a moment.

"Tomorrow, 4pm, I'll pick you up, casual clothes. We can have a game evening, so like arcade, bowling and stuff like that?" He asks, and I smile. I hate doing fancy stuff for first dates or even dates at all, it can be pretty awkward.

"I'll be ready." I confirm as I lean in and kiss Sam's cheek, saying goodbye before walking over to Tara.

"Your bitch just got a date!" I say, quickly downing a shot, and I can see Tara processing the news. "Girl! Chicks before dicks! No but really, I'm happy for you. So who's the unlucky guy." She smirks as I hit her shoulder.

"What it, and it just so happens to be Sam. Apparently he's pretty famous, you might not know him." I sarcastically reply.

"I'll have you know I do know him, and I hope that your date goes well." She smiles as she gives me a hug.

Sam's POV

That girl was so attractive. I'm so glad I managed to get Corey to introduce me to her.

"Erm excuse me Sam, who was that pretty girl?" Colby asks, looking and then smirking at the brush that covered my face.

"It's Corey's best friend Y/N. And, your bro has a date with her tomorrow." I say proudly, and Colby's jaw drops.

"What about bros before hoes? Ugh, fine I'm happy for you." He says in defeat and I pat his back.

"Thanks, anyway we need to go, we gave editing to do." I remind Colby, and we start to leave, hearing Colby whine about the thought of editing. We say goodbye to people, I then say goodbye to Y/N, and then we leave the party.
