Y/N's POV

I never thought I would see Corey standing at my door, tears in his eyes and a desperate look on his face. My heart clenched at the sight of him, my mind flooded with memories of how he had left me to work with Elton despite what he had done to me. I wanted to slam the door in his face and never look back, but something about the pain in his eyes made me hesitate.

"What are you doing here, Corey?" I asked, my voice cold and distant.

He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself before speaking. "I-I'm sorry, Y/N. I know I messed up. Elton...he left me in the dirt. I had nowhere else to go."

My jaw clenched at his words, the betrayal still fresh in my mind. "You left me in the dirt too, Corey. You chose to go with him, despite everything. How can I trust you now?"

Corey's eyes filled with regret as he reached out to take my hand. "I know I messed up, Y/N. But please, give me a chance to make it right. I promise, I'll never leave you again."

I hesitated for a moment, unsure of what to do. But then I remembered the kindness of the boys who had taken me in after Corey left, the fun we had together, the way they had supported me through it all. I knew I couldn't turn him away, not when he looked so lost and alone.

"Fine," I finally said, my voice softening. "One chance, Corey. That's all you get."

He let out a sigh of relief and pulled me into a hug, holding me close as tears welled up in his eyes. I could feel the tension in the air dissipate as the rest of the boys came into the living room, their expressions a mix of anger and sympathy.

"What's going on?" Sam asked, his brows furrowed in confusion.

Corey took a deep breath before explaining everything that had happened with Elton, the betrayal, the lies, the manipulation. I could see the hurt in his eyes as he spoke, the regret of his choices weighing heavily on him.

The boys exchanged glances, unsure of what to do. But then Jake spoke up, a look of understanding in his eyes. "I say we give him a chance, guys. Everyone deserves a second chance."

Aaron and Colby nodded in agreement, their expressions softening as they looked at Corey. I took a deep breath, feeling the weight of the decision we were all making.

"Fine," I said, my voice firm. "But if you ever betray us again, Corey, you're out. Understood?"

Corey nodded, his eyes filled with gratitude and relief. "Thank you, Y/N. I won't let you down, I promise."

We all returned to the living room, where the boys were in the middle of a fierce pillow fort building competition. I smiled as I joined in, feeling the warmth of friendship and camaraderie wash over me. Corey helped me build my fort, his touch gentle and reassuring as we worked together.

In the end, Jake's fort won the competition, much to his delight. We all settled down to watch movies in our forts, the air filled with laughter and happiness. I glanced at Corey, who was sitting next to me, a look of gratitude on his face.

As the night went on, I felt my heart slowly starting to heal, the scars of betrayal beginning to fade. And as I looked around at the boys who had become my family, I knew that no matter what happened, we would always have each other's backs.

And as Corey leaned in to whisper in my ear, his voice filled with sincerity and love, I knew that maybe, just maybe, we could find a way to move forward together, stronger than ever before.
