A/N~I was really busy today, so I didn't have time to go full out and write a request. This was just a simple idea I had.
Y/N'S POV
I'll never forget the day Chris asked me to be their special guest on their podcast, Cut The Camera. I was over the moon! I've always been a huge fan of the guys and their hilarious antics, and I couldn't believe they were inviting me to join them.
I always supported Chris, Matt and Nick with their career, and I was always sure to listen in on every podcast that they've done.
As we sat down in front of the microphones, Chris gave me a big hug and whispered, "Hey, baby, I'm so glad you're here. We're going to have a blast." I smiled, feeling like the luckiest person in the world.
Nick and Matt, Chris's brothers, greeted me warmly, and we all chatted for a bit before getting started. Chris introduced me as "the love of his life," and I blushed at the sweet title.
"So, we're going to do a Q&A session with our lovely guest," Chris said, grinning at me. "We'll take some questions from our listeners and see what you have to say." Matt explained, unlocking his phone to find the questions.
The questions came rolling in, and we spent the next hour chatting about everything from our favorite TV shows to our childhood memories. The boys were hilarious, as always, and I had a blast answering their questions and sharing stories.
"So Y/N, we've invited you here today, to ask if you could play one of your songs. You can sing anything." Nick explained, as Chris went out of the room for a brief moment, only to return with my acoustic guitar.
"Okay then, any requests?" I asked, and Nick raised his hand like a child in school. "Autumn!" He declared, and I took some time to think of lyrics, as the boys explained what their next car video would be.
I strummed the first few chords, and the guys fell silent.
Verse 1
The air is crisp and cool, like a breath of fresh air. Leaves are rustling, crunching beneath my feet. The trees are ablaze with color, a fiery red and gold. It's like the world is on fire.Chorus
Autumn, oh autumn, you're a season of change. A time to let go of what's been, and embrace the unknown. The wind whispers secrets in my ear, and I'm left wondering what's to come.Verse 2
The smell of woodsmoke and damp earth fills my nostrils. The sky is a deep shade of grey, with clouds that seem to swirl and twist. I feel the weight of the day settling in, like a heavy fog that refuses to lift. It's a melancholy feeling, but one that's also strangely beautiful.Chorus
Autumn, oh autumn, you're a season of change. A time to let go of what's been, and embrace the unknown. The wind whispers secrets in my ear, and I'm left wondering what's to come.Verse 3
The days are growing shorter, and the nights are growing longer. The stars are shining brighter than ever before. I feel a sense of nostalgia wash over me, like I'm reliving memories from years gone by. It's as if the autumn air is carrying the whispers of the past.Verse 4
The world is dressing up in costume, donning a cloak of orange and black. The pumpkins are aglow, their faces twisted into sinister grins. The air is electric with anticipation, like the world is holding its breath in anticipation of something big.Verse 5
And then there's Halloween, a night when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest. A time when the living and the dead can mingle freely. It's a night of magic and mystery, when anything seems possible.Chorus
Autumn, oh autumn, you're a season of change. A time to let go of what's been, and embrace the unknown. The wind whispers secrets in my ear, and I'm left wondering what's to come.I sang with my heart full of joy, feeling like I was exactly where I was meant to be. When I finished, there was a moment of stunned silence before the boys erupted into applause.
"Wow, that was amazing!" Nick exclaimed.
"You're incredible!" Matt added.
Chris leaned over and gave me a kiss on the cheek. "I'm so proud of you, baby. I loved it."
We chatted for a bit longer, wrapping up the episode with some final thoughts and jokes.
As we signed off and wrapped up the podcast, Chris turned to me with a mischievous grin. "You know what this means, don't you?" he asked.
I raised an eyebrow. "What?"
"It means we have to do this again sometime soon," Chris said, winking at me.
I laughed, feeling like I was exactly where I was meant to be. "Definitely," I said. "I'm already counting down the days until the next episode."
Chris leaned over and whispered something in my ear, making me blush again. "Don't worry, baby. We'll make sure to have plenty of opportunities for you to show your music."
