TW~Needles and pain.

Y/N's POV

I couldn't believe it had already been a whole year since Johnnie and I had started dating. To celebrate our anniversary, we had decided to get matching tattoos. It was something we had talked about for a while, but now that the day was finally here, I was starting to get really nervous.

As we walked into the tattoo parlour, I could feel my palms getting sweaty and my heart starting to race. Johnnie must have sensed my nervousness because he gave me a reassuring smile and squeezed my hand tightly.

"You okay, sweetheart?" He asked, concern evident in his voice.

I nodded, trying to push down my fear. "Yeah, I'm just really scared of needles," I admitted, feeling embarrassed.

Johnnie's eyes softened as he pulled me into a hug. "It's gonna be okay, I'll be right here with you the whole time," he promised.

The tattoo artist led us to a room in the back of the parlour and asked if we were ready to begin. Johnnie turned to me, a smile playing on his lips. "You want me to go first, sweetheart?"

I nodded, grateful for the distraction. "Yeah, go ahead. I wanna see what it's like," I said, mustering up a smile.

It took about an hour for Johnnie to get his tattoo done, and the whole time I sat on the bench, watching him intently. He handled the pain like a pro, barely wincing as the needle worked its magic on his skin.

When it was finally my turn, I felt my stomach twist into knots. I sat in the chair, trying to stay as calm as possible as the tattoo artist began to set up.

Johnnie crouched down in front of me, holding my hands tightly. "You're gonna do great, sweetheart. I'm right here with you," he whispered, his breath warm against my skin.

I closed my eyes as the tattoo artist placed the stencil on my skin, my knee bouncing with nervous energy. Johnnie's hands moved to the tops of my thighs, rubbing small circles to help calm me down.

"You ready?" The tattoo artist asked, snapping on his gloves.

"Just breathe, sweetheart. You're gonna be okay," he whispers, his voice filled with love and support.

I take a deep breath and nodded, as the tattoo artist starts the needle. The first few pricks of the needle were excruciating, but Johnnie's voice was like a lifeline, encouraging me and praising me as I tried to push through the pain. He squeezes my hand even tighter, his face filled with concern.

"You're doing great, Y/N. Just a little longer," he encourages me, his eyes never leaving mine. His words give me the strength to keep going, despite the pain.

As the tattoo artist works, Johnnie continues to praise and comfort me, making me feel safe and loved. And before I know it, the tattoo is finally finished. The artist wraps it in cling film and Johnnie helps me off the chair, holding me close.

"You did amazing, sweetheart. I'm so proud of you," he says, pressing a gentle kiss to my forehead.

I smile up at him, feeling grateful for his love and support. "Thank you, Johnnie. I couldn't have done it without you."

He smiles back at me, his eyes shining with love. "I'd do anything for you, Y/N. And now we have matching tattoos to always remind us of our love."

I lean in and kiss him softly, feeling happy and content in his arms. "I love you, Johnnie Guilbert."

"I love you too, sweetheart," he whispers, his arms wrapped tightly around me.
