A/N~Y/BF/N means your best friend's name.

TW~Death of best friend.

Y/N's POV

I had spent the entire day with Larray, my best friend. We had gone shopping, ate lunch at our favorite spot, and even went for a walk in the park. Now, we were settled on the couch watching a movie, enjoying each other's company.

As the movie played on, my phone suddenly rang, displaying an unknown number.

"It's an unknown number, should I answer?" I asked, as Larray nodded. I hesitated for a moment before getting up to answer it in the kitchen. My heart raced as I held the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I said tentatively.

The voice on the other end was somber, "I'm calling from the hospital. I'm sorry to inform you that your best friend, Y/BF/N has passed away from complications during surgery after a motorcycle crash."

My world crashed around me as the words registered in my mind. I hung up the phone, as it slipped out of my hand, falling to the floor.

Tears welled up in my eyes as I dropped to my knees, the weight of the news crushing me. Larray heard my cries and rushed into the kitchen, wrapping me in a tight hug.

"What's wrong, Y/N? Talk to me, what happened?" He asked with concern, trying to comfort me.

I tried to speak, but the words caught in my throat. I managed to stutter out, "It's...it's Y/BF/N. They...they didn't make it."

Larray's face fell as he took in the news. "Oh, Y/N, it's gonna be okay." He said, as he put his head on top of mine, rubbing my back gently.

He led me to the living room, handing me a glass of water and some food to try to calm me down. He stayed by my side, offering his support and a listening ear.

After some time had passed, Larray suggested that I stay the night at his place. He guided me to the guest room, making sure I was settled in before bidding me goodnight.

"I'm here for you, okay? Don't hesitate to reach out if you need anything. I love you, and I'll always be here for you. Remember that." Larray said softly, giving me a reassuring smile.
