Y/N's POV

I stood at the bar, laughing and chatting with my best friend Jake. We had known each other since we were kids, so catching up at parties like this was always a blast. "Your boy's coming over." Jake says with a smirk, and sure enough, I felt a familiar arm wrap around my shoulders and I turned to see my handsome boyfriend, Matt, standing there with a grin on his face.

"Hey there, bub," Matt said, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

I smiled up at him, feeling my heart swell with love. "Hey Matt." I replied. But then I noticed Jake raising an eyebrow and excusing himself to go talk to Colby. I turned back to Matt, who still had that charming smile on his face.

"What was that look for?" I teased, nudging him playfully.

Matt chuckled, shaking his head. "Nothing, just glad to see my girl having a good time."

I narrowed my eyes at him, trying to read his expression. "Are you...jealous? Is the Matt Sturniolo jealous of Jake Webber?" I asked, a mischievous glint in my eye.

Matt's cheeks flushed slightly, and he stammered, "N-no, why would I be jealous?"

I couldn't help but laugh at his adorable reaction. "Oh, come on, Matt. You can't fool me. You're totally jealous that I was talking to Jake, aren't you?"

Matt sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Okay, maybe a little. But only because I love you so much, and I don't want to share you with anyone else."

My heart melted at his sweet words, and I reached up to cup his face in my hands. "Aw, Matt. You don't have to worry about that. I love you and only you," I said, leaning in to press a soft kiss to his lips.

Matt's eyes sparkled with adoration as he pulled me close, wrapping his arms around me in a tight embrace. "I love you more than anything, baby," he whispered, his voice full of emotion.

We stayed like that for a moment, lost in each other's embrace, before the rest of our friends joined us at the bar. Chris, Nick, Sam, and Johnnie all greeted us with smiles and hugs, and soon we were all laughing and joking together, enjoying each other's company.

As the night wore on, the music got louder, and the drinks flowed freely. Matt and I danced together, our bodies moving in perfect harmony as we lost ourselves in the music. I couldn't imagine a better night than this, surrounded by my friends and the love of my life.

But as the party started to wind down, Matt pulled me aside into a private room, his expression serious.

"I have something I want to ask you," he said, a nervous edge to his voice.

I felt my heart start to race, wondering what he could possibly have to ask me. "What is it, Matt?"

He took a deep breath, his eyes locked on mine. "I know we've been together for a while now, but I want you to know that I'm serious about us. I love you more than words can express, and I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy. Will you...will you marry me?"

Tears sprang to my eyes as I looked into his earnest gaze, feeling overwhelmed with love and joy. "Yes, Matt. Yes, a thousand times yes!" I cried, throwing my arms around him and kissing him passionately.

Our friends burst through the door and started cheering and clapping, offering their congratulations as Matt slipped a beautiful ring onto my finger. In that moment, I knew that I was the luckiest girl in the world to have a man like Matt by my side.
