Y/N'S POV

Matt and I decided to make a video for my YouTube channel today, and we had to try drawing each other. We sat at the kitchen counter, surrounded by the familiar comforts of our home, with our trusty sketchpads and pencils in front of us.

"Bubs!" Matt said, as I walked over to the fridge to get a drink. "Are you ready for this?"

I giggled, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. "Totally, Matt! I'm ready to put my artistic skills to the test."

Matt chuckled and playfully rolled his eyes. "Oh, I'm shaking in my boots."

We got ready, and I pressed record and filmed my intro. "Hey guys, welcome back to my channel. Today me and Matt are having a small competition, and who over loses has to cook dinner. The competition is that we have to draw each other and we shall see whose is better." I said as Matt nodded along to what I was saying.

We set the timer for 30 minutes and started drawing. I tried to focus on Matt's face, but he kept making silly faces at me, trying to distract me from my task. I couldn't help but laugh and retaliate with some silly faces of my own.

"Hey, Matt! You're not supposed to be looking so cute right now!" I joked, trying to keep my cool.

Matt grinned mischievously. "I can't help it Y/N. I'm a master of distractions."

As we continued drawing, we both started to get a little more serious, and the timer really kept us on our toes. When it finally went off, we both put down our pencils and surveyed our work.

I hesitated before showing Matt my drawing. "Uh... I think it's safe to say mine might not be my best work."

Matt's eyes widened as he took in the... let's call it a "unique" face I had drawn. It was definitely out of proportion, and the features were more scribbly than refined.

"Haha, babe... I think you might have been having a little too much fun," Matt said, trying to hide his amusement.

I giggled, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Yeah, maybe just a little. You did show me like ten different facial expressions when trying to distract me."

But then Matt showed me his drawing. My jaw dropped as I took in the incredible level of detail he had achieved. The face was intricately detailed, with fine lines and subtle shading that brought it to life.

"Whoa... Matt... this is incredible!" I breathed.

Matt beamed with pride, his eyes shining with excitement. "Thanks! I've been practicing in secret."

I couldn't believe it. My boyfriend, the guy who loved making fun of my art skills, had turned out to be a talented artist himself. And judging by his drawing, he had been honing his skills in secret.

"Matt, you never told me that!" I exclaimed. "Can you teach me?"

Matt's expression turned a bit more serious. "Yes sure. This is something I've always been good at."

I raised an eyebrow. "You're kidding me, right? You can't just keep this talent hidden away!"

Matt chuckled and shrugged. "Sorry, bubs. It's just something I've always enjoyed doing on my own."

I pouted playfully, feeling a little left out. But deep down, I was impressed by Matt's dedication to his craft and his willingness to keep it a secret until now.

"Well, I suppose I'll just have to admire your talent from afar," I said with a grin.

Matt smiled and wrapped his arms around me. "That's okay, bubs. You can be my art critic instead."

I laughed and leaned into him. "Deal."

Who knows? Maybe one day Matt will share his artistic skills with me again.
