TW~Bad ADHD.

Y/N's POV

I sat in the studio with Jake, feeling both excited and anxious. We were trying to work on a new song together, but my ADHD was making it incredibly difficult to focus. My leg bounced uncontrollably under the table, my hands fidgeted with anything they could find, and my mind was racing a mile a minute.

"Hey there, love," Jake said, looking at me with a small smile. "You're a little all over the place today, huh?"

I laughed nervously, running a hand through my hair. "Yeah, I'm sorry babe. My ADHD is really acting up today. I am trying, I promise."

Jake nodded understandingly, reaching out to take my hands in his. "It's okay, love, I know you are. We can work through it together. Let's try to focus on the song, okay?"

I nodded, trying my best to center myself as Jake pulled my chair out slightly so I could face him. "Here love". He placed some of his rings on my fingers, causing me to smile at the gesture. It was little moments like these that made me feel loved and understood.

But despite Jake's efforts, I couldn't seem to concentrate. My mind kept wandering, and I found myself tapping my foot on the ground rhythmically. Sensing my restlessness, Jake got up and fetched his electric guitar, placing it in my lap.

"Here, why don't you play around with this for a bit?" Jake suggested, knowing how much I loved to fiddle with musical instruments. "Maybe it'll help calm you down."

I eagerly took the guitar, strumming the strings lightly and letting the music wash over me. It was a soothing sensation, and I could feel my hyperactivity starting to ease up a bit.

As I played, Jake sat down at my desk and started working on some lyrics of his own for the song. It was such a typical scene for us, the two of us lost in our own worlds but still connected in a way that felt inevitable. Jake would occasionally glance over at me as he wrote, a look of fondness in his eyes that always made my heart skip a beat.

I must of zoned put for a while, because when I snapped out if it, Jake was crouched down beside my chair.

Jake's POV

Y/N's ADHD was really bad today, and I could tell how much she wanted to make a new song today.

I sat down at Y/N's desk, writing some of my own lyrics, as she fiddled with my guitar. When I looked up, I saw the guitar on the floor and her zoned out, still fidgeting with my rings.

I got up and called her name, but she didn't respond. I shook her shoulder gently, and she finally looked at me, her eyes wide and unfocused.

"Hey love, you with me?" I asked, concern evident in my voice.

Y/N's POV

"Hey love, you with me?" Jake asked as I was snapped out from my thoughts.

I blinked a few times before finally focusing on him. "Sorry, Jake. I just... I can't seem to stay focused today."

Jake scooped me up in his arms, wrapping my legs around his waist as he held me close, resting my head on his shoulder. "It's okay, sweetheart. Let's go do something to use up some of that energy, yeah?"

I nodded slowly, putting my head back on his shoulder as he started walking upstairs. When we got to our bedroom, he set me down and got out some swimming trunks for himself and a bikini for me.

"Swimming?" I asked, as he shook his head. "No, we're going skydiving, love. I'm kidding, yeah we're going swimming." He replied as we both laughed.

He picked me up and threw me over his shoulder, as I screamed. "JAKE! Put me down!" He simply shook his head as I playfully punched his back. "Stop it love, or you will be thrown in the pool." Jake said, which immediately made me stop my actions.

We finally made it outside, as Jake set me down again, then, he jumped into the pool, splashing me in the process. He came to the surface as held his arms out for me. I took his rings off, and placed them on the nearby table before running to jump into the pool, Jake  catching me as I jumped.

We spent the next hour splashing and swimming around in the pool before my energy was drained, and my skin was wrinkly.

"Come on love, time to get out now." Jake said as he picked me up and placed me on the pool edge. He came back and wrapped me in a towel before lifting me up and taking me to the bathroom.

We quickly showered, and then got comfy in our bed, my head on Jake's chest as we watched some crappy horror movie. "Night Jake, I love you." I said, my eyelids getting heavier as I finally gave into sleep. "Goodnight Y/N, I love you too."
