TW~Yelling and hate
Y/N'S POV
I was sitting on the couch, watching TV, when I heard the front door burst open. Matt stormed in, his face red with anger and frustration. I immediately knew something was wrong.
"Hey, baby! How was your day?" I asked, trying to sound cheerful and calm. I made my way over to him and looked at him, my smile fading at his angered and upset face.
But Matt was having none of it. He cut me off, his voice rising in anger. "Just leave me alone, okay?! Can't you see I'm having a fucking terrible day?"
I felt a pang of hurt and surprise. What was going on? Why was Matt so upset? I took a step back, trying to give him some space.
"Matt, what's wrong? Just talk to me. Please." I asked, trying to keep my tone gentle.
But Matt just glared at me. "You wouldn't understand," he snarled. "You're always so happy and carefree. You have no idea what it's like to deal with the crap I have to deal with every day."
I felt a lump form in my throat. I knew Matt had anxiety and hate from fans, and it could be tough for him to deal with sometimes. But I had always tried to be supportive and understanding.
Matt turned on his heel and stormed upstairs, leaving me feeling confused and worried.
I waited for a few minutes, hoping that he would come back down and talk to me. But he didn't. So I decided to go after him.
I found Matt lying on the bed, his face buried in his pillow. I sat down beside him and gently stroked his hair.
"Hey, oh Matt," I said softly. "What's going on? Why did you get so upset?"
Matt slowly lifted his head, his eyes still red from crying. "It's just...those fucking fans," he said, his voice trembling. "They're always making fun of my anxiety in my videos on YouTube. They think it's fake or that I'm just seeking attention."
My heart went out to him. I knew how much he struggled with anxiety and how hard it was for him to talk about it.
"Oh, Matt," I said, my voice filled with compassion. "I'm so sorry you have to deal with that."
Matt looked up at me, his eyes welling up with tears again. "I just feel like nobody understands," he said, his voice cracking.
I pulled him into a tight hug, holding him close as he sobbed into my shoulder.
"I understand, Matt," I whispered. "I'm here for you, always."
After a few minutes, Matt's tears subsided, and he looked up at me with a hint of a smile.
"Thanks, I'm sorry bubs," he said, his voice still shaking.
I smiled back at him and gently lifted his shirt up a bit. "It's alright baby. Let me help you relax," I said.
Matt nodded, and I began to scratch and rub his back slowly. We sat in silence for a bit, the only sound being the soft rustling of his shirt and the gentle hum of the TV in the background.
Eventually, Matt started to relax, his breathing slowing down as he let out a contented sigh.
I leaned forward and kissed his forehead gently. "You're okay, baby," I whispered.
Matt wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close. We fell asleep on the couch together, holding each other tightly as we drifted off into a peaceful slumber.
