Y/N's POV

It had been a long road trip to Colorado with Sam and Colby, but we finally made it to the iconic Stanley Hotel. I couldn't wait to explore the haunted hotel with my two favorite guys by my side.

As we walked through the hallways, I felt a chill run down my spine. The energy in the air was heavy and unnerving. I clung to Sam's arm, seeking comfort from the eerie surroundings.

"Are you guys feeling that too?" I asked, looking up at Sam with wide eyes.

Sam squeezed my hand reassuringly. "No, but this place gives me the creeps too. Don't worry angel, I'll protect you."

I smiled gratefully at him, feeling a sense of safety in his presence. Colby chuckled beside us, looking around at the dimly lit hallways with curiosity.

"Let's see if we can stir up some spirits," Colby suggested mischievously.

I shot him a playful glare. "Colby, don't joke about that. I don't want to get possessed or anything."

Sam laughed, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. "Don't worry, babe. Just stick close to me and you'll be fine."

We continued exploring the hotel, venturing into the infamous Room 217 and the eerie hallways that seemed to go on forever. I felt a sense of unease settle in the pit of my stomach, but I brushed it off, trying to enjoy the experience with my favorite guys.

But as we delved deeper into the hotel, strange things started happening. I felt a cold breeze pass through me, even though there were no windows or doors open. I heard whispers in my ears, faint but distinct enough to send shivers down my spine.

"Did you guys hear that?" I asked, my voice trembling slightly.

Sam and Colby exchanged a look, both of them looking slightly unsettled. "No, what was it?" Colby asked, his eyes darting around the hallway.

Suddenly, I felt a sharp pain on my arm, like something had scratched me. I let out a yelp, jumping back in surprise.

"What the hell was that?" I cried, holding onto my arm.

Sam's face was filled with concern as he inspected the scratch. "We should probably get out of here. This place is seriously messed up."

But just as we turned to leave, I felt a hand push me from behind, sending me stumbling forward. I let out a gasp, grabbing onto Sam for support.

"Okay, this is getting out of hand," Colby said, his voice laced with alarm. "We need to figure out what these spirits want."

I nodded, feeling a knot form in my stomach. "But how do we do that?"

Colby reached into his bag and pulled out a pair of headphones. "We can try the Estes Method. Or we could set up a REM Pod, maybe they'll be able to communicate with us."

I hesitated, feeling a sense of dread settle over me. But I knew we needed answers, so I reluctantly agreed. Sam squeezed my hand reassuringly as Colby set up the equipment.

As soon as I put on the headphones, I felt a sense of unease wash over me. The static in the headphones seemed to intensify, sending chills down my spine. I closed my eyes, trying to calm my racing heart.

Sam's POV

"Colby, we shouldn't do this to her, she's clearly being targeted, what if she gets possessed or something?" I speak with worry in my voice, and Y/N speaks random words.

"If something happens during this, we'll go, that scratch isn't looking great either." Colby comments, as her arm welts around the scratch.

Suddenly the REM Pod goes off, alarming us that an entity is present in the room. So we begin to ask questions.

"If you're in this room, can you make yourself known?" I ask, as the REM Pod goes off again, suggesting there is something here. Y/N continues to speak random words like 'secret', 'hotel' and so on.

Y/N keeps jumping at something and bouncing her knee, as if something is near her or touching her. So I carefully hold her hand, and she laced her fingers with mine, as I squeeze her hand in comfort.

As the investigation goes on, we've gotten great evidence, but then Colby asks the question we've been wanting answers for.

"Why are you targeting Y/N?" Colby asks.

"KILL HER!" Y/N says, and she begins to tremble a bit.

Y/N's POV

And then, after the spirit spoke, a loud, ear-bleeding scream echoed through the headphones, screaming my name with such force that I felt like my eardrums would burst. I let out a scream of my own, ripping off the headphones and throwing them to the ground.

"No, absolutely not, I'm not doimg that again! Don'tmake me do it Sam, please!" I cried, tears pricking at the corners of my eyes.

Sam wrapped his arms around me, holding me close as I shook with fear. "It's okay, angel. You're okay."

Colby stared at me with wide eyes, his expression filled with shock. "I've never seen anything like that before. That was terrifying."

I took a deep breath, trying to steady my racing heart. "I don't know what that was, but I never want to experience anything like that again."

Sam pressed a kiss to the top of my head, his warmth comforting me in the midst of the chaos. "Let's get out of here. This place is too dangerous."
