Y/N's POV

I woke up to the sound of laughter and chatter coming from the living room. I stretched and yawned, feeling a sense of comfort wash over me as I realized where I was. I was in the traphouse, surrounded by my big brother Jake, and my friends, Corey, Sam, Elton, Aaron, and Colby. They had been taking care of Sam ever since he broke his back attempting a crazy roof jump for a dare.

I quickly got dressed and made my way to the living room, where I found the guys gathered around the TV, playing video games and joking around. I smiled as I watched them, feeling grateful to have such amazing friends in my life.

I heard the front door open and close, and in walked Elton, looking a little panicked.

"Hey there, Little Webber," he said, using his nickname for me. "Have you seen Sam around? I can't find him anywhere."

I shook my head, my brow furrowing in concern. "No, I haven't seen him. Is everything okay?"

Elton's face paled slightly as he looked out of the window, that overlooked the pool, "Oh my god, he's in the pool and he's drowning. We need to go right now."

My heart leaped into my throat as I jumped up from the couch and followed Elton outside to the backyard where the pool was. As we reached the edge, my eyes widened in shock as I saw no sign of Sam in the water.

"Where is he?" I asked, panic creeping into my voice.

Before Elton could answer, he suddenly shoved me from behind, sending me tumbling into the pool with a splash. I gasped as I hit the water, my heart pounding in my chest as I struggled to keep myself afloat.

I thrashed in the water, kicking my legs and flailing my arms as I tried to reach the edge of the pool. But the water seemed to pull me under, threatening to swallow me whole.

I couldn't swim. I never learned how. And now, I was trapped in the deep end of the pool, unable to reach the surface as I felt myself slowly sinking down.

"Help! Help me!" I screamed, my voice hoarse with fear as I struggled to keep my head above water. But the backyard was empty, and no one seemed to hear my cries for help.

I felt a wave of despair wash over me as I realized that I might not make it out of the pool alive. Tears welled up in my eyes as I tried to stay calm and focus on staying afloat.

But just as I felt myself slipping further into the darkness of the water, I saw movement out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head to see Colby, Jake, Corey, Sam, and Aaron running towards the pool, their faces filled with shock and horror.

"Y/N!" Colby's voice rang out, cutting through the water like a lifeline. "Hold on, we're coming for you!"

Colby, Corey and Jake jumped into the pool, splashing and kicking their way towards me as I struggled to keep myself above water. I reached out towards them, my hand grasping for any kind of support as they finally reached me.

Strong arms wrapped around me, pulling me up to the surface as I gasped for air, my body shaking with relief as I clung to them for dear life.

"We've got you, Y/N," Jake said, his voice filled with reassurance as he held me close. "Stay awake for me, please!" He yelled, as Aaron and Sam waited at the edge if the pool for us.

However, I couldn't keep my eyes open any longer, and I blacked out.

Jake's POV

I suddenly felt Y/N go limp in my arms, which made me panic even more, as she could be in my arms, on death's door.
