Y/N's POV

As I walked out of the store with Y/B/N, my arms filled with snacks, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment. I loved spending time with him, even if he could be a bit overbearing at times. But that was just part of his nature, I told myself.

"What do you need all those snacks for, babe? You know you don't need them," Y/B/N commented, eyeing the bags in my arms with a disapproving look.

I felt a pang of insecurity shoot through me as he mentioned my weight. I knew I wasn't the skinniest girl out there, but I never thought it bothered him so much. Tears started to well up in my eyes as I tried to walk towards our car, but Y/B/N grabbed my wrist, stopping me in my tracks.

"Look, babe, maybe you should think about going on a diet. It would be good for you," Y/B/N said, his voice laced with concern. But his words cut me deeper than any knife ever could.

I couldn't hold back the tears anymore as I stood there, feeling exposed and vulnerable. Y/B/N just kept yelling at me, his words hitting me like a ton of bricks. And then, without warning, he slapped me across the face.

I was shocked, the sting of the slap still lingering on my cheek as I tried to process what had just happened. And just when I thought things couldn't get any worse, three guys approached us, their eyes filled with concern.

Chris' POV

I was sitting in the front passenger seat of the car, with my brothers Matt and Nick in the driver's seat and back seat respectively. We were out recording content for our YouTube channel, joking around as usual.

Nick was going off on a tangent about waffles, pancakes, and french toast, when something caught my attention. I saw a girl and a guy arguing on the street corner. Her face looked distraught and the guy seemed aggressive.

"Guys, look over there," I said, pointing at the window, in the direction where the guy and girl was. The guy continued yelling at her which raised my suspicions.

Matt glanced over and furrowed his brow. "What's going on?"

"I think that guy is being aggressive towards her," I explained, concern filling my voice.

Nick turned around in his seat to get a better look. "We should do something about it."

Before we could decide on a course of action, the situation escalated. The guy slapped the girl across the face, causing us to spring into action. "Yeah, we've gotta go now!" Matt opened his car door, whilst Nick and I did the same and we all jumped out, heading towards her and the guy.

"Is everything okay here?" Matt asked, his voice firm.

"Yeah, she just got out of rehab, you now how it is. She's emotional as fuck." The guy said with a smirk, which made me believe he was lying, as I looked at the girl. Her face red, and covered in tears.

"That's not true! Please believe me!" She said looking at me an my brothers, as I nodded at her. I was about to pull her over to us, but they guy grabbed her wrist tightly, causing her to wince as he pulled her towards their car.

However, Nick and Matt immediately stepped in, grabbing the guy and pulling him away from her. I hurried over to her, pulling the girl into a hug as she sobbed in my arms. The guy made another move towards the girl in my arms, but Nick warned him that we would call the police.

Y/B/N got back in his car and drove off, leaving her wrapped in my arms, broken and alone. My heart ached for her as I looked into her eyes, seeing the pain and fear reflected in them.

"Are you okay?" I asked softly, brushing a stray tear from her cheek.

She nodded, but I could see the red mark forming on her face and the bruises on her wrist.

Y/N's POV

"Do you have a place we can drop you off to..." One of them asked, as I shook my head. "It's Y/N, and erm... no." I replied as they looked at me with sympathy in their eyes.

"Well Y/N, I'm Nick, and these are my brothers Matt and Chris, and you can stay with us if you'd like?" Nick said, as I shook my head again.

"I don't want to cause any problems, I'll just crash at hotels." I said, as they then shook their heads. "No, please stay with us." Matt said, and sure enough after a lot of persuasion, I accepted their offer.
