TW~Fear of rollercoasters.

Y/N'S POV

I clung to Chris's hand as we walked through the theme park gates, my heart racing with anticipation. Or was it fear? I wasn't sure, but I knew one thing for certain - I was extremely terrified of rollercoasters.

"Come on, guys, it'll be fun!" Matt and Nick, called out, already making their way towards the first ride on the list.

I couldn't believe that I even tagged along for this video, but let's hope I make it out alive.

Chris squeezed my hand reassuringly. "Hey, don't worry, baby. We'll stick together, and we'll get through this. You can hold my hand as much as you want."

I gave him a weak smile. "Easy for you to say Mr I'm-so-brave-because-I'm-A-Man."

Chris chuckled. "Hey, someone's got to be brave around here. Besides, I'm scared too, okay?"

I raised an eyebrow. "Really? You're scared?"

Chris nodded. "Yeah, I'm terrified. But we'll face it, just like always."

I felt a warmth in my chest at his words. I loved how Chris always knew how to make me feel better.

As we approached the first rollercoaster, I could feel my stomach doing flips. "Oh no, oh no, oh no," I whispered to myself.

Chris gave my hand a gentle squeeze. "Hey, it's okay. We can do this. We'll go up together and scream our lungs out."

I laughed nervously. "You're crazy, you know that?"

Matt and Nick were already waiting in line, their faces lit up with excitement. "Come on, guys! We're almost there!"

Chris and I exchanged a hesitant look before joining the line. As we inched closer to the front, my anxiety grew.

"What are we doing this for again?" I whispered to Chris.

Chris shrugged. "Because Matt and Nick won't leave us alone until we ride it."

I groaned. "You're right. They're your two annoying older brothers who won't take no for an answer."

Chris wrapped his arms around me, and we swayed slightly in the queue which helped me calm my nerves a bit. Chris rubbed my back and placed kisses onto the top of my head, which probably helped calm his nerves.

As we reached the front of the line, Chris and I looked at each other with a mix of fear and trepidation.

"Ready?" Matt asked, grinning from ear to ear.

Chris nodded hesitantly. "Yeah... I guess."

Nick chuckled. "That's the spirit! Up we go!"

Before we knew it, we were strapped into the rollercoaster and heading up the first hill. Chris squeezed my hand tight as we crested the top.

And then we plummeted down.

I let out a blood-curdling scream as the rollercoaster twisted and turned through the tracks. Chris screamed right along with me.

When we finally came to a stop in the station again, we were both gasping for air.

Matt and Nick were laughing and high-fiving each other. "Told you guys it would be fun!"

I glared at them. "You're sadists."

Chris chuckled and pulled me close. "Hey, at least we did it together."

And as we made our way to the next ride on the list, I knew that no matter what thrills or chills lay ahead, me and Chris would always be terrified of rollercoasters.

"Hey, baby?" Chris whispered in my ear.

"Yeah?" I replied.

"I love you."

I smiled up at him. "I love you too."

And with that, we faced whatever rollercoaster horrors lay ahead, with Matt and Nick recording us and rolling on the floor in fits of laughter.
