Y/N's POV
I woke up to the sound of Seth calling my name, his voice filled with excitement. "Y/N, wake up! It's a perfect day to go to the abandoned skate park!" I groaned sleepily, rolling over to face him. His eyes were shining with excitement, his messy hair falling across his face. "Come on, Y/N, it'll be so much fun, please baby girl!" he pleaded, nudging me gently.
I couldn't resist his enthusiasm, so I reluctantly agreed to go with him to the skate park. I quickly put on my skater outfit, complete with my favorite snapback and high-top sneakers. Seth grinned at me, his dimples popping as he handed me my skateboard. "Let's do this, baby girl!" he exclaimed, grabbing his camera to document our skateboarding adventure for TikTok and social media.
As we arrived at the abandoned skate park, the adrenaline pumped through my veins. I loved the feeling of flying through the air on my skateboard, the wind in my hair and the rush of excitement as I landed a trick perfectly. Seth set up his camera and started recording as I skated around the park, practising first, then performing all sorts of stunts and tricks.
I could hear Seth cheering me on from behind the camera, his voice filled with pride and admiration. "That's my girl! You're killing it, Y/N!" he shouted, capturing every moment on video. I grinned, feeling his support and love fueling my determination to skate even harder.
But then disaster struck. I attempted a risky stunt, trying to impress the viewers with my skills. As I landed, I felt a sharp pain shoot through my shoulder and collarbone, followed by a sickening crack. I fell to the ground, clutching my injured arm as tears welled up in my eyes.
Seth stopped recording immediately and rushed over to me, his face filled with concern. "Oh my god, are you okay, baby girl?" he asked frantically, helping me sit up. I winced in pain, trying to hold back my sobs. "I think I broke something, Seth," I gasped, tears streaming down my cheeks.
Seth's eyes widened in panic, realizing the gravity of the situation. "We need to get you to the hospital, Y/N," he said, his voice urgent. But we both knew that we couldn't call an ambulance, as we could get arrested for trespassing at the abandoned skate park.
Seth helped me to my feet, supporting me as we made our way back to the car. Every bump in the road sent a jolt of pain through my injured shoulder, causing me to grit my teeth and suppress a cry. Seth drove as quickly as he could to the nearest hospital, his knuckles white from gripping the steering wheel so tightly.
When we arrived at the emergency room, the nurses rushed me in for an x-ray. The process was excruciatingly painful, as they had to manipulate my arm and collarbone into different positions for the imaging. I cried out in agony, as Seth could only wait outside of the waiting from, hearing my crys of pain.
After what seemed like an eternity, the doctor came back with the results. My collarbone was fractured, and I needed to have my shoulder and collarbone strapped up to immobilize the injury. I felt a wave of fear wash over me, knowing that I would be in a lot of pain during the recovery process.
"You're doing great Y/N." Seth said, as they strapped up the main part of the injury which caused me to cry out in pain.
Seth stayed by my side the entire time, holding my hand and giving me words of encouragement and praise. "You were so brave, baby girl. I'm so proud of you," he whispered, his eyes filled with love and concern. His presence was a comforting anchor in the storm of pain and fear that I was experiencing.
Finally, after hours of waiting and treatment, the doctor cleared me to go home on strict rest. I was exhausted and sore, but relieved to be out of the hospital and back in Seth's car. He drove us home in silence, the weight of the day's events hanging heavy in the air.
As we arrived at our apartment, Seth helped me out of the car and into bed, tucking me in gently. He made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed before settling in beside me, wrapping his arms around me protectively.
I sighed, leaning into his embrace, grateful for his unwavering love and support. "Thank you for being there for me, Seth. I don't know what I would do without you," I murmured, feeling tears prick at the corners of my eyes.
Seth kissed my forehead gently, his lips warm against my skin. "I'll always be here for you, Y/N. I love you more than anything in this world," he whispered, his voice filled with emotion.
