Y/N's POV

"HEY! Y/L/N! Looking ugly as always!" A guy said to me as I walked through the corridors of my college. This was a normal routine now, the jocks come up to me, say hurtful things, then leave with a boosted ego. I've had enough of it, but they never stop. Chris used to be able to help when he was at college with me but he graduated a year ago, so I'm alone now.

"You should meet me under the bleachers girl, give you a good time, which your boyfriend can't." He said, as I rolled my eyes.

"Look, you're all idiots, I'm not meeting you under thr bleachers, and trust me my boyfriend is perfectly fine thanks." I replied with some sass, as I turned to leave, I was already late for class, so I began walking to my classroom.

However, my actions weren't complete as one of the jocks, grabbed my wrist with force and pulled me back. "Where'd you think you're going Y/L/N?" He said, as I wince at the strong grip he had on my wrist.

"Let me go, you're hurting me!" I yell, hoping someone would hear me. "Good." Was the only thing he replied before he pushed me into a wall, and him and his mates started beating me.

"Stop! Help!" I yelled, as one kicks me in the abdomen, silencing my cries for help.

"BOYS, STEP AWAY!" A teacher should, as they boys run off, as another teacher goes after them. I was still on the floor, now trying to sit up, as the teacher saw my distress, and helped me sit up, leaning against the wall.

"Go home, Y/N, I'll email you the work, just take care of yourself." The teacher said, as they helped me up, and I slowly walked out of the reception doors.

I walked home from college, my body aching and bruised from the beating I had received earlier that day. Tears streamed down my face as I stumbled up the steps to Chris's house, longing for his comforting presence.

When he opened the door, his eyes widened in shock at the sight of me, tears stained face, bruises littering my body, and blood trailing down my cheek. Without a word, I walked up to him, collapsing into his arms as he shut the door behind me.

"Oh, baby," Chris murmured, his arms wrapping around me protectively. "What happened? Who did this to you?"

I could barely speak through my sobs, but I managed to choke out, "Some guys at school. They...they wanted to boost their ego."

Chris's jaw clenched in anger as he gently guided me to the bathroom, carefully sitting me on the counter. "I'm going to take care of you, okay? Just hang in there, sweetheart."

He grabbed a small first aid kit, his touch gentle as he cleaned the cuts on my face. "Chris, stop!" I winced in pain when he reached a particularly sensitive area, and he immediately stopped, giving me his free hand to squeeze as he continued his ministrations.

"You're so strong, baby," Chris murmured, his voice full of praise and encouragement. "I'm so proud of you for being brave through this. You're gonna be okay princess. "

He patched up the deeper cuts with care, his touch soothing despite the stinging pain. But when he lifted my shirt to see a large bruise spanning across my abdomen, my breath hitched in pain.

"Oh baby, let me grab an ice pack. I'll be right back, sweetheart," Chris said softly, laying me down on his bed before disappearing momentarily. He returned with an ice pack, tenderly placing it on my abdomen as I cried out in agony.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry baby?" Chris said, as the ice pack made me feel cold. Chris noticed this and grabbed my fluffy blanket, covering my body and he kissed my forehead.

The pain subsided slightly, so Chris went downstairs to grab some snacks and settled in next to me on the bed, pulling me close as we watched a movie in comforting silence. Each time the pain flared up, he would adjust the ice pack or offer words of reassurance.

"Thank you, Chris," I whispered, tears of gratitude filling my eyes. "I don't know what I would do without you."

His arms tightened around me, his love and protectiveness enveloping me like a warm blanket. "I'll always be here for you, baby. You're not alone in this."
