Y/N's POV

As I sat on the couch in the darkened living room of The Conjuring House, my heart racing with excitement and a sense of unease, I couldn't help but feel grateful to have Sam by my side. We had always loved exploring haunted locations together, but this experience felt different, more intense than any we had faced before.

Sam was standing by the couch, his camera in hand and a look of determination on his face. Cody and Satori were in front of us, their fingers wrapped around each other's wrists, making some sort of connection with the other side.

"Alright, let's do this," Colby said, his voice filled with a mixture of anticipation and nerves. Satori nodded, her eyes focused on Cody as they began reciting the alphabet, waiting for the spirits to communicate with them through taps.

As they went through the letters, I could feel the energy in the room shifting, a sense of heaviness settling over us like a suffocating blanket. And then, as they reached the letter 'L', a series of quick taps sounded out, followed by 'I', 'B', 'B', 'Y'. My heart skipped a beat as I realized what was happening.

"L-i-b-b-y. Libby Golbach," Satori repeated, his voice shaking slightly. Sam's eyes widened in shock as he looked at me, a mixture of disbelief and fear etched on his face.

Tears welled up in Sam's eyes as he handed the camera to Colby, walking over to the door frame, his emotions overwhelming him as he realized that the spirits were spelling out his grandmother's name. He sank to his knees on the floor, his sobs echoing through the room as I rushed to his side, my heart breaking for him.

"Sam, baby, it's okay, come here, I've got you, " I whispered, my arms wrapping around him as he buried his face in my neck, his tears soaking into my skin. Cody and Satori looked on, their expressions a mix of concern and confusion as they watched Sam break down in front of them.

"Satori, maybe we could take a break?" I said, my voice barely above a whisper as I tried to comfort Sam. Satori nodded, her eyes filled with sympathy, "yeah of course, take your time." I stood up and brushed myself off before putting my hand out for Sam to take, as I held him up. "We're gonna go outside Sam, is that okay?" I asked, running my fingers through Sam's hair.

Sam nodded silently, his body shaking with the force of his sobs as we made our way outside, the cool night air a welcome reprieve from the oppressive atmosphere of the house. I held onto Sam tightly, my own heart aching for him as he let out all the emotions he had been keeping bottled up inside.

"Are you okay, Sam?" Colby's voice broke through the silence, his concern evident in his tone as he joined us outside. I shook my head, my eyes filled with tears as I looked at him, silently asking for his support. My heart was breaking for Sam, but at least we know that Libby is watching over him.

Colby nodded understandingly, his hand rubbing Sam's back in a soothing gesture as we waited for him to calm down. After what felt like a good 10 minutes, Sam's sobs gradually faded, his breathing eventually evening out as he pulled away from me, his eyes red and puffy but filled with a newfound determination.

"Thank you, guys," Sam said, his voice hoarse but filled with gratitude as he wiped away his tears. "Let's go back inside. We have an investigation to do."
