Y/N'S POV

I've been living with the Sturniolos for around a month now, and it's probably the best thing that's ever happened to me.

I've grown really close with my brothers, a bit closer with Matt, due to the fact that he normally helps me through nightmares that lead to panic attacks.

Chris always invites me into his room so that Cotton can say hello to his stuffed animal monkey, and I love it.

Nick gives the best hugs still, and whenever I feel down or panicked, he's right their to hug all of the problems away. Even though I'm still weary about physical contact, they respect my boundaries.

Nick, Matt and Chris have included me in their videos, and the fans love me. They haven't invited me for a car video yet, just because they yell a lot. I mean, they yell a lot in their videos at home, but apparently, they're very rowdy in car videos.

I've met Justin a few times, and he's pretty cool, and he takes me to the park sometimes. I now love the swings and slide.

And of course, I love Trevor, what a legend. I'm cautious around dogs, just because on of my old foster families had a dog, and it bit me pretty deep. Trevor loves me though, and he's really well behaved.

Mary Lou and Jimmy are the best parents ever, I recently started calling them 'mom' and 'dad', and they nearly cried. I'm still in the foster care system, and I'm terrified because my 'trial' with them ends tomorrow, meaning that I'll be put back in the system unless they adopt me.

I don't blame them if they don't, I mean, I'm just some 9 year old with a touch aversion and many scars and bruises.

I was sitting at the kitchen bar area, my feet swinging like I was 10 feet up as Mary Lou made me some pancakes. She gave them to me, and I smiled, she always puts a chocolate chip smiley face on them, it makes me feel a lot more happy and optimistic.

"Thanks mom!" I said, quickly digging in, loving the taste of chocolate and syrup.

I really wanted to go to the park today with everyone, but they probably had their own stuff to deal with.

Mary Lou must of seen my zoned out self, so stood at the opposite side of the kitchen counter, "Y/N?" she said, which snapped me out of my thoughts, "huh?" I asked, eating some pancakes.

"What are you thinking about missy?" She questioned, and I went a bit shy.

My foster families always told me to never ask for something because being taken in was already something that was to much stress for them. I was also told to not speak unless spoken too. I know that this family might not mind me speaking out or asking for things, but I've stuck with them rules for so long, so it will take me some time to break them and develop a new personality.

"C-can we go to the park? Like all of us?" I asked, and she smiled, "of course we can, we can have a picnic. That way, the boys can get a vlog done or something. I also need to stop at the orphanage though to hand something in about your trial. Don't worry, it's nothing bad." She said, taking my plate, as I wiped my mouth.
