TW~Anxiety and swearing.

Y/N's POV

I was sitting in the backseat of the car with Chris, Matt and Nick. Ever since Chris and I went public with our relationship, I've been bombarded with hate from fans and haters online. It was really getting to me, and my anxiety was at an all-time high. But Chris had been so supportive, always reassuring me that no one would come between us and that no one could be powerful enough to break us up.

As Matt started the car video, I tried to stay out of the frame, keeping my face hidden as much as possible, not wanting to draw any attention to myself or be seen as a 'pick me' girl. The boys were having a blast, ranting and joking around, and I didn't want to ruin their fun. But they kept including me, asking me questions and making me feel like part of the group.

"Hey baby, do you prefer pie or cake?" Chris asked, turning around in his seat to look at me.

I smiled at him, feeling a surge of love and warmth in my heart. "Cake, definitely cake," I replied, giving a small smile to Chris as I saw Matt fake gag from the corner of my eye.

Matt chuckled from the driver's seat. "I said ice cream cake," he said with a grin, earning a mock from Nick in response. "I said ice cream cake, you sound like fucking Mr Electric, send him to the Pricipal's Office immediately!" All of us burst out laughing as Nick looked proud of what he just said.

As the video rolled on, Matt and Nick were having a rant yet again, and as I watched on in amusement, I felt a hand touch mine, when I looked down at my hand, I saw Chris' hand being bent back to reach my hand. I gave his hand a small squeeze, as he probably noticed my anxiety getting worse. Suddenly, Nick pretended to draw an imaginary line between me and Chris. "No PDA in the car guys, this is a sade space," he joked, making Chris and Matt burst out laughing.

As the boys continued with their banter and hypothetical situations, I couldn't help but relax and enjoy the moment. Chris always had a way of making me feel safe and loved, even in the midst of all the chaos surrounding us.

After the video was finished, Matt drove us all back to the house, the boys still laughing and joking around. As we pulled into the driveway, Chris turned to me with a smile.

"Are you okay, baby?" he asked, his eyes full of concern.

I nodded, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over me. "I'm okay, thanks to you," I replied, leaning in to kiss him on the cheek.

Nick made a gagging noise from the backseat, causing us all to burst out laughing once again.
