Y/N's POV
It was a typical day for me, spending time with my boyfriend Colby, and my brother Sam, exploring the St. Augustine Lighthouse for a YouTube video. We were all excited to see what paranormal activity we could capture on camera, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of nervousness and excitement.
As we made our way through the dark and eerie lighthouse, the atmosphere was tense, but we kept each other's spirits up with jokes and banter. Sam was his usual adventurous self, leading the way with his fearless attitude, while Colby held my hand, giving me reassurance whenever I felt a shiver down my spine.
After exploring the lighthouse and capturing some intriguing footage, it was time for the challenge we had set for each other. Colby would have to walk up the lighthouse stairs blindfolded, while Sam and I would sit in the chairs of William Harn, tied up and with flashlights on the floor and EMF detectors on our chests.
I couldn't help but feel a sense of unease as Colby tied us both up to the chairs, leaving us alone in the basement. The darkness seemed to envelop us, and I could feel my heart pounding in my chest as we waited for something to happen.
Suddenly, I felt a sensation on my neck, as if I had been scratched. I let out a gasp, feeling a chill run down my spine. The flashlights began flickering erratically, and the EMF detector on my chest started buzzing loudly, indicating a spike in electromagnetic activity.
Sam looked at me with concern, his eyes wide with worry. "Are you okay, Y/N?" he whispered, trying to keep his voice steady. As we were sat back to back, he held my hand, and I leaned my head against his shoulder.
I nodded, trying to brush off the feeling of unease that was creeping up on me. But then, I felt another scratching sensation, this time from my right eyebrow to the right side of my jaw. I sat up a bit straighter, taking my head off of Sam's shoulder, as I winced in pain, feeling a warm trickle of blood running down my face.
Sam's eyes widened in alarm, and he began frantically trying to free himself from the ropes that bound him to the chair. "We need to get out of here, right now, COLBY!" he said urgently, his voice filled with fear. We knew Colby wouldn't be able to hear us, so we tried to free ourselves but, Colby tied us up well.
"Guys, you won't believe it, the music box was going craz- what the hell happened, baby?" Colby said as he returned around ten minutes later, his eyes widening in shock as he saw the blood and scratch marks on my face. He quickly untied us both, and Sam rushed over to me, checking my neck and face for any injuries.
"Hey, baby, are you okay?" Colby asked but was met with me shaking me head, as I winced in pain when Sam looked at the scratch on my neck.
I could see the concern in his eyes, and I knew that he was genuinely worried for my safety. We all stepped outside, the cool night air providing a welcome relief from the oppressive atmosphere of the lighthouse.
Sam tried to clean the blood and scratch marks on my face, but the pain was unbearable. I squeezed Colby's hand tightly, seeking comfort from his presence.
"It's okay, baby girl, we're gonna go home, we gotten enough footage and evidence." Colby said, trying to distract me from the pain.
He looked at me with a mixture of fear and determination in his eyes, promising to protect me no matter what. So after my wounds were cleaned, we ended the video, made our way back to the car, and went home, trying to forget about William Harn, and the St. Augustine Lighthouse.
