Today was a long day. I am about to walk out of my last class which is literature. Good thing my locker is near both Victoria and Madeline.

I spot them both and walk towards them.

"Syd! Do you have a boyfriend? I have two tickets to the movies and its a romance so if you have someone to go with you can have them. My date this week bailed."

I have a feeling Victoria dates a lot of people.

"Put them aside for me, I might take them." I see him walk towards us which somehow triggers my mind into joy.

The kindess in me cant resist lucas. He really does look like he is no harm. I make eye contact as his pale skin is in my vision.

He smiles wider and his dimples pop out. He has dirty blonde wavy hair that flows along his head and a strand of it is hanging on his face. He has hazel glassy eyes with green and they tell a story, I just cant make out what that story is yet. He looks at me still and i see genuine joy in his bunny teethed smile.

I could get used to this

"Are you just gonna stand there and look at each other or.." madeline cuts off our eye contact.

Lucas nods and his pale face gets rosier. "Let me take you home sydney?"

I nod and I feel a smile on my face which is unfortunate.

He leads me outside and I look at my two school friends one last time and they stare at us with wide grins.

I look back at lucas and he opens the door.

Its pouring.

"I didn't think it would rain today. Let me check how long it will be this bad. It isnt very safe to drive you home."

He checks the forcast and smirks "storm is coming. My house is like two songs away and wont take long. How far is your house?"

I love when people use songs to measure time.

"Took me like fifteen minutes to drive here."

"That's too dangerous sydney. Let me take you to my house? Unless you have other ideas."

I really want to see his house. I also want to play hard to get.

"Fine."

He nods. "Do you still like Harry Styles?"

"Yeah."

"Well I don't." he playfully speaks. "Wanna listen to the radio?

I tell him yes and he plays turns the speaker up.

He plays enchanted.

He hums the lyrics throughout the song. He turns it louder towards the end.

'Please dont be in love with someone else'.
