So school was over and me and Shawn were walking.
Jessica usually picks me up but for whatever reason she couldn't.
"So you still coming to his hockey game"
"I really want too-"
He rolled his eyes.
"But Becca was taking me to get my nails done and I'm really sorry. I tried to back out but she seemed so happy about it"
"It's okay. I understand. And Jake and Ryan have been on me about not spending time with them"
I saw a pink Range Rover pull up with a horn going off.
"Let's go North!" Becca shouted
"Again I'm really sorry."
"It's fine. Go have fun!" He smiled.
"Are you sure?" I asked and he nodded.
I walked towards her car and opened the door to the passenger seat.
I fastened my seatbelt and she speeded off to the mall parking lot.
I always hated the mall, especially at this time.
All those teenagers it honestly gave me so much anxiety I have no idea why.
She parked and I walked out.
"I never got my nails done" I confessed as we walked towards the mall doors. "Oh your in for a treat" she said and I smiled.
We walked downstairs and found our way into a salon.
I sat down in this really comfortable chair.
"What would you guys like?"
"A French manicure" she said.
"And for her?"
"Umm"
"That one." I pointed to a white manicure with a ying-yang sign on the ring finger.
"Nice." she nodded.
"Don't worry I'll pay" Becca smiled.
"Oh thanks"
Wow she's a lot nicer than I thought.
