Shawn's POV
Not gonna lie I could tell North was pretty upset, but it would all be worth it if she agreed to come to the wedding with me.
They were doing some weird construction by the area where the tree was so we decided to meet and that basketball court, across from McDonald's.
I sighed at the sweet memories and stood in the middle, waiting for her.
She walked around the corner and I confirmed it was her. I smile grew across my face.
She ran to me and jumped, wrapping her legs around my torso.
I held her tight by her back, smelling her vanilla and honey perfume.
I smiled spinning her around and she pulled out from the hug and looked down at me, the biggest smile on her face our lips connected.
We pulled apart after a while and I planted her on the ground. My hands were around her lower waist and hers around my neck.
"I missed you" she said.
"Missed you too princess" I said and I watched her cheeks get red.
"And your tomato cheeks" I pinched them lightly and she laughed covering them with her hands.
"Wanna go get food?" I asked and she nodded smiling.
We crossed the street and ordered some McDonalds and sat in the back.
"How was it?" I asked finally.
"What?"
"How was the camp?" I repeated.
"Not terrible. I met some really nice girls, especially this one girl named Addison. We were like sisters it felt good to finally I don't know feel, belonged" she said. I kind of felt a little bit offended but she quickly saw it and grabbed my hands.
"Not that you didn't make me feel belonged you did. And you make me so happy like the month I met you.. I smiled more than I have in those four weeks than I have my entire life." She said and I smiled.
"you complete me."
I squeezed her hand and she smiled taking a dip of 5 fries and shoving them all in her mouth.
"Can I ask you something?" I asked wiping some ketchup off her face with my thumb.
"Yeah shoot" she smiled.
"My aunts having a wedding, sorry this is so last minute but do you want to be my date?" I asked and she smiled.
"Yes!" She smiled. "I have to get a dress in really short notice but absolutely! It's gonna be fun" she said and I smiled at her.
