Chapter 51

I'm so bored with this fanfic

North Black

So I guess I have to go to school today.. sadly.

At least it's Friday.

I got out of bed and I had basically 5 minutes to get to school. I groaned and grabbed some black sweatpants and my phone. I poured mints into my mouth and ran downstairs.

There was a note taped to the door.

Sorry had to get to work early, can you get a ride?

I rolled my eyes and just started walking.

I looked up and brushed the hair out of my eyes and saw Shawn infront of me.

Crap.

"Need a ride?" A car pulled up filled with the girls who drove me home once.

"Yeah thanks" I hopped into the back and the drove me to the school.

"Thanks" I hopped out. "Wanna go chill with us after school?" A blonde boy asked. "I have plans. Sorry" I smiled and walked into hell.

I grabbed my books and rushed into class. Everyone turned to look at me, I had no idea whether they were focusing on the bags under my eyes or how late I am but that would be the last of my worries.

I looked away making sure not to make eye contact with Shawn and made my way to my seat.

"Did you finish the project?" Noah whispered.

"Crap I forgot.. forget about our deal okay?" I said.

"What do you expect me to finish it myself?"

"It's better than spending any more time with you" I smiled.

Eventually it was lunch time and I decided to go say hi to Wyatt, he knows how to distract me like Shawn used too.

"Hey" he smiled.

"Hi" I said.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Well I got home at four in the morning! But yeah" I said in a lighthearted tone and he laughed.

"Soo um can we eat lunch on the roof today? Please?" I asked.

"Sure" he shrugged closing his locker.

"Is everything alright?" He asked me.

"I honestly can't say yes" I said and we walked into the cafeteria. We bought there crappy overly expensive school lunches and walked outside and climbed the ladders.

We sat down and I moved closer to him so our thighs were touching.

"So.. Looks like Homecoming is coming up" he said looking at excited people putting up posters.

"Homecoming is just the same desperate girls and disgusting  PDA the only difference is they look slightly better"

"So you don't want to go?"

"Well.. It's lame.."

"So lame" he agreed with me.

"The lamest of the lame"

"Like as lame as if phanny packs and crocs had a parade celebrating the tenth anniversary of Mean Girls" he said.

"Hey! There's no shame in Mean Girls!" I laughed and he laughed nudging me.

The laughter faded "But you know I would like to go but I'm probably not gonna get asked" I shrugged.

"You know why I like you?" He asked me and I looked at him.

"Your different.. Like your pretty, and funny, and loyal, and mysterious in a way that I don't really understand that intrigues me..."

"Loyal?"

"Have you met some of the girls here?" He said and I laughed.

"So on that note I'm guessing you've never seen mean girls?" I asked him.

"Not really" he shrugged.

"You gotta come over tonight, we're watching it"

"Is North Black asking me on a date?"

"No! You just haven't seen my favourite movie and you need to have a positive review on it before I befriend you" I said and he laughed, lightly pushing me by my shoulder.

(shawn's pov)

"I hate them" I said looking up at North and Wyatt.

"They could just be friends" Ryan said.

"You know what I hate man? You got Katie Waters throwing herself at you and your actually still chasing out this "West" chick that isn't even that cute"

I turned around and stared at him. "Not funny." I said.

"You know maybe Jake's right. You should make a move on Katie to try and get her attention" Jacob said.

"That's mean. What if she really likes me?" I asked.

"She's Katie Waters. She'll get over it"

"Or.. You could just make a big gesture. Ask her to homecoming" Ryan suggested.

"We're not speaking."

"Why?" They all asked in unison.

"I don't know but she's just been avoiding me"

"Then talk to her about it"

"I guess" I shrugged, the bell rang sending us back to class and I thought about how I'm going to bring it up.

The final bell soon rang and I got up and followed closely behind her and to the door. She was walking so fast she must have known I was behind her. "Hey North" I called. "North!" I said a little louder and lightly grabbed her arm.

She turned around and looked at me, she looked in pain? I was probably squeezing her arm, I slowly released my grip.

"Hey, um can we talk?" I asked her.

"I'm kind of in a rush" she looked down.

"Is it just me or have you been avoiding me since the you know.. Kiss?" I ignored her statement

(if you forgot. The night of Luke's party Shawn barged in and dragged her out, then they kissed)

"Shawn I really need to-"

The way she said my name, she didn't say it like she used too. With such.. Love, and caring, but now she can't even look me in the eye and it's just cold.

"Look I just need to know what we are. Do you want to get back together or not?" I shrugged.

She looked me in the eye, finally. And her expression dropped, her jaw hung slightly opened. I gave her a look of confusion and she soon turned angry.

"Are you serious?" She asked me and I nodded, unsure of how to respond.

"You lied to me, you told me you wouldn't tell anyone about the forest yet you told the entire school your a dirty lie. Our whole relationship is a lie you ruined the little bit of life I had left and if you think I could even bare to like you again your far off" she ranted and walked away.

What is she talking about?
